How do you know if someone has that gift? I've seen plenty of bad teachers who were effective, and I've seen plenty of people with good knowledge who were ineffective at it. A person might have great theology and be a great teacher, but is his effectiveness any more a gift than the one had by the evil teacher, or is his doctrine any more a gift than the great doctrine held by one who doesn't teach?

Teaching the Bible as in being an Elder? No.

Teaching in general, according to their calling, YES! Absolutely.

Yours in the Lord,

I agree. Pulpit and Pen was at it again, and I was curious if others felt the same way as them/him.

I wish I could remember why I stared this. I think it was Pulpit & Pen stating that women weren’t given the gift of teaching.
Hey, that's what happens when you get old. You forget things recent and remember things that happened a long time ago.
