Gift of teaching for women

Are women given the gift of teaching?

No.

Teachers are role models and lead the student.

Men should be leaders of Mankind. Problem is men have been getting progressively weaker for about five generations and no longer know how to lead.

How do you know if someone has that gift? I've seen plenty of bad teachers who were effective, and I've seen plenty of people with good knowledge who were ineffective at it. A person might have great theology and be a great teacher, but is his effectiveness any more a gift than the one had by the evil teacher, or is his doctrine any more a gift than the great doctrine held by one who doesn't teach?

In Christ there is neither male nor female.....Therefore, the bodily form one has, who is given the spirit of teaching, is arbitrary.

We know what Paul says about women teaching, but does that apply only to congregational practices, or does it extend beyond that to, say, your local elementary school?

I agree. Pulpit and Pen was at it again, and I was curious if others felt the same way as them/him.

Woman are to teach other women in the church but not to teach men. In society they can be teachers of the young. There is no biblical restrictions placed on them in society other than the moral restrictions that we all ought to observe.
