Hey Returned from Gettysburg to visit my brother. It was over the anniversary of the Gettysburg address. It was pretty Covid safe since it was mostly open air events and not very well attended. A lot of people in period costumes wearing masks. I did these ink and wash drawings. Some of the mounted Generals are on horses with two legs off the ground, meaning they fell in battle. This was Reynolds and he fell on day one.

Really reflects the sacredness of that ground, which is palpable when you are there.

Here in Canada I have experienced the same at our battlefields where we repulsed the American invaders in the War of 1812 --- like Queenstown Heights and Stoney Creek and Cryslers Farm
