getting settled in a new church

I've been in a Spirit filled church since Nov a considerably larger church. I made the goal to start getting involved and get to know people better and get involved with some kind of service. How long did it take you to connect with others and make friends if you have changed churches?

Hi Jan 800. I've changed churches a few times in my life. It usually takes me about a year to really settle in and feel comfortable. It would depend on how easy it is for you to make new connections. Just keep reaching out and working on it. Joshua 1:9

Do stuff, spend time, serve with, talk to, ask questions, discuss life etc.

that sounds good but I have to know people first in order to do stuff with. how does it work for you?

I will show up at a class cold or ask to go to a mens group without knowing anyone.
