Perhaps because all of those panels will suck all of the energy out of the Sun?

Solar Panels Drain the Sun's Energy, Experts Say

From the article:

WIT is adamant that there’s no immediate danger, however. “Currently, solar panels are an energy niche, and do not pose a serious risk to the sun. But if we converted our grids to solar energy in a big way, with panels on domestic homes and commercial businesses, and paving our parking lots with panels, we’d start seeing very serious problems over time. If every home in the world had solar panels on their roofs, global temperatures would drop by as much as thirty degrees over twenty years, and the sun could die out within three hundred to four hundred years.”

Solar Panels Drain the Sun's Energy, Experts Say

From the article:

“It’s obvious, based on the findings of this neutral scientific research group, that humans needs to become more dependent on fossil fuels like oil and coal, not less. Because these so-called `green technologies’ are far more dangerous to the Earth than any hydrofracking operation or deep-water drilling station. What good is clean air when our very sun is no longer functional?”

Yes, so one or two companies can eventually establish a monopoly, the government can appoint someone to a new position of "Solar Czar", and then we can be right back to where we are with the fossil fuel companies. Brilliant!

How does one create a monopoly with more than one company? It's a direct contradiction in terms.

The technical term would be "cartel." But the fossil fuel companies aren't ready to dominate the renewable energy market yet (though they are striving to do so) which is why fundamentalist clergy of the Religious Right are still being instructed to preach against it.

Solar power turns off at night time, and sadly solar PV produces produce THREE HUNDRED TIMES MORE waste than nuclear power, and it's toxic, life destroying stuff.

>If solar and nuclear produce the same amount of electricity over the next 25 years that nuclear produced in 2016, and the wastes are stacked on football fields, the nuclear waste would reach the height of the Leaning Tower of Pisa (52 meters), while the solar waste would reach the height of two Mt. Everests (16 km).

>In countries like China, India, and Ghana, communities living near e-waste dumps often burn the waste in order to salvage the valuable copper wires for resale. Since this process requires burning off the plastic, the resulting smoke contains toxic fumes that are carcinogenic and teratogenic (birth defect-causing) when inhaled.
Are we headed for a solar waste crisis?
As I always say, climate change is too important to let magical, wishful thinking make us choose wind and solar. Dr James Hansen says renewables face profound challenges from intermittency, so much so that believing in renewables is like believing in the Tooth Fairy. Hansen warns not to drink sustainable energy Kool-Aid He recommends that the world build 115 reactors per year. Nuclear power paves the only viable path forward on climate change Is that impossible? Not at all! In fact, on a GDP to reactor ratio, the French already beat that build out rate. They converted 75% of their grid to nuclear in just 15 years, building 56 reactors over 15 years! Nuclear power in France - Wikipedia France now has some of the cleanest electricity in Europe, and is the world's largest exporter of electricity. List of countries by electricity exports - Wikipedia Nuclear is not only the cheapest and safest way to replace fossil fuels, it is the fastest. Dr Hansen recommends this free book about breeder reactors that can eat nuclear waste. https://goo.gl/2YS1On Then electric vehicles and synthetic diesel from seawater can replace oil. Synthetic diesel We can do this, we just need the political willpower.

I'ld rather have a "Solar Czar" that squeezes every last penny out of us while keeping the planet intact, as opposed to having "Fossil Fuel Czar" which also squeezes every last penny out of us, while ruining the planet.

In other words, if EVERYTHING stays the same, but the fossil fuel is replace by clean power, then the world has progressed.
