You could say they were in the garden on day 8. They were there until they fell.
Adam were placed in the garden on day 6. On day 6 Eve was created from Adams rib...while Adam was in the garden.

I have seen the bottomless pit. There is always a remnant to repopulate the earth. Usually 10%. Actually the earth was in a state of ruin at the end of the ice age 12,990 years ago. 90% of the species went extinct.This is during the 1000 years----and this is the bottomless pit---the abyss--to which Satan and his angels are sent. An empty earth--destroyed by the 2nd coming.
Both Moses and Peter talk about how a day is 1,000 years. That does not falsify that a day can be a literal 24 hour day. It all depends on your perspective. I have said many times it took God 12.990 billion years to create Adam and Eve. Yet we find them in Eden 5990 years ago. There is a time and a place that if you had a time machine you could go visit them. Just like Jesus was born in an exact time and place so that the wise men went to give Him gifts. Yet we are told that our names are written in the Lambs book of life from the foundation of the world. "All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." (Rev 13:8)You've misapplied the bible when it talks about 1 day being 1000 years.

He says NOTHING about what took place before Adam and Eve. 500 years ago they knew nothing about the world that was here before Adam and Eve. This is why Moses tells the story the way he does. Because he is talking about BOTH floods at the same time. Just like in Matthew chapter 24 Jesus is talking about two events at the same time. When they would destroy the temple in 70 ad and how that relates to the end of this age. What they call the church age or the age of grace or the time of the gentles. There are many names for the age we are currently living in. As age that has lasted for almost 2,000 years, not just a literal 24 hour day. There was 4,000 years or four day between Adam and Jesus. What you need to do is study: "first fruit". The seed has to sprout, take root, grow and eventually the tree will produce fruit. There is a day that the seed spouts, in the beginning, there is a day when the tree will produce a root and that root system will grow. There there is a day when the tree will begin to produce fruit. By what stretch of the imagination are you going to produce a mature tree in 24 hours? Not just a tree but a whole bio diverse eco system. People need to read their Biology book. They need to study science. Most main line denominations require their pastors to study science first before they study to become a pastor or a priest in the church. It is just the pastors with a 2 year associate degree that do not study science and that hinders them in their understanding of the Bible.
You want to invest five minutes into something and you think you know more then a PhD that has spent a very intense 8 years of their life in research and study. If you go to a doctor you do not go to someone that put five minutes of effort into becoming a doctor. You go to someone who has studied for years to learn all we need to learn to practice medicine.
This door swings both ways. I know people with a PhD in science that do not even have a third graders level of understanding in the Bible. A third grader can memorize up to 300 scriptures chapter and verse. I know of PhD people that do not know their Bible at all and do not have any of it memorized.
We need balance in life and we need to study science, math, history & the Bible. Even now I am doing a study on the Hebrew Language and how that relates to the English language we study today.

God's perspective is from the Beginning. People get confused because they are looking back on time when God is looking forward. God declares the end from the beginning. "I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, 'My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please." (Isaiah 46:10) "I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled." (Jeremiah 1:12) "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End". (Rev 22:13)Those verses mean that for God..time means nothing as God exist outside of time.

“Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes, the sower of seed." (Amos 9:13) This is not a past event, this is a future event.
