The Islamic Jihad faction said it fired a "Grad" rocket from the Gaza Strip at the Israeli coastal city of Ashkelon. Palestinian militants generally use makeshift missiles, rather than military grade rockets, for such cross-border barrages.

Islamic Jihad, sworn to destroying Israel, said it was sending a message to Israeli leaders "that their war against the Palestinians will not make them secure".

Yes, Israel did. Given that prior to the handover there were rocket attacked on Israel from Gaza it is hardly shocking to see that they continued after the IDF is left

With Jews emmigrating to Israel, the Jewish demand for fresh water is exceeding the supply in that arid region. Guess who does have it? The Palestinians in the occupied territories. So they wage a media war, portraying the Palestinians as the evil terrorists, and themselves as the poor, persecuted, innocent Jews, victims of the Holocaust, etc etc etc--in order to gain YOUR support in their water grab. Of course, the Palestinians need the water too, but who cares, right? They're only Gentiles. Every rocket, every bomb from the Palestinians is played up in the world media, while Israel's own attrocities are swept under the rug, so that you will support them in their "withdrawal" from Gaza--which, naturally, includes next to none of the water resources. It's a classic con job, and YOU are the butt of it.
