Even our PM, Teresa May on, "The Andrew Marr Show" said gay sex was not a sin. How are we as Christians to react to his situation?
Homosexual acts are always promiscuous, so your point doesn't stand up.
We should look very closely and determine what supporting
reasons that God would hate gay behavior. It should be a
very solid list of reasons. And should be from Jesus directly.
Gay sex is always outside of marriage, regardless of what the current political elite claims.
Gay sex is always sterile. Is is a violation of God's plan for sex. It is taking God's gift and distorting it to our own purpose.
If you read the next verse you will find out why Sodom was destroyed, and if you still don't know why check with Peter & Jude who well understood what Jesus said about Sodom.'Now this was the sin of Sodom: They were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. ” Ezekiel 16:49
But not for the reason you hold dear.
The reason is promiscuity, not preference.
So is my wife unable to carry a child and you are an insulting person.
Take a long hike on a short peer.
By the way, my gay cousin has two fabulous, curious, polite teen boys
who are half brothers. From what I've seen, they are brilliant as well.
So your argument fails on all fronts that include reality.
I am not sure why you leave out half of Christendom - our Catholic friends whose church does not condone homosexual acts. You also ignore Evangelical & Pentecostal churches which are considered mainstream these days.Historic Protestant churches in Europe and the US that generally follow a critical method of doing theology.
In British politics the nation focusses a lot on gay issues. As Christians most, if not all will be have something to say about gay matters. My biggest problem is when some Christians say gay sex is not a sin when as the Bible explains, it clearly is. Our local MP Tim Farron, who is a committed Christian says gay sex is not a sin. He goes to our Church and we had a special prayer meeting last Wednesday night to pray and discuss his situation. Even our PM, Teresa May on, "The Andrew Marr Show" said gay sex was not a sin. How are we as Christians to react to his situation?
I am glad you agree with my statement.
The bottom line is that there are no examples of sexual acts between people of the same gender anywhere in the Bible, whether promiscuous or not.
I'm not saying they are. Maybe read what I said again. Can you provide an instance of homosexual acts being condoned in the bible?

By quoting scriptures that clearly state that Gay sex is a sin.... If people ignore scriptures and refuse to aknowledge the truth then God will deal with them.. As long as you have done the right thing by giving them warning then your off the hook as it where...
Do you know what "some people don't interpret it the same way you do" means? Please share with us your interpretation of this new testament scripture.
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 1 Corinthians 6:9
Do you understand what the phrase "will not inherit the kingdom of God" means?
Warning people that their eternal soul will be lost if they don't repent of wickedness, is an act of love.
What are you thinking?

Heterosexual sex has the potential to create life. It is acceptable to God.
