GAME : Funny things you used to think as a child?

Ill start:

I Thought if you ate more than your stomach capacity, the food would start filling up your throat...

When I was really young, I used to think that if the water filled up high enough to enter the sink hole then the sink would explode. I have no idea why I thought this, but I'm pretty sure I dreamt it once. There have been some really intense times as a child where the water almost got up to the hole and I panicked.

The birthmark on my right bicep was caused by my mom eating strawberries when she was pregnant with me, because my mom said so, and I believed her for a long time, till I was in the hospital after having my own child, a boy, and a nurse checking my blood pressure told me I had been kissed by an angel there. I gave up the strawberry idea immediately.

That I was going to go bald....cos my hair is thin like my Dads, and I used to get teased by some of my family that because my Dad went bald in his early twenties....so would I! Fank goodness I didnt!

I smoked some cigarettes when I was nine and because I heard if you blew the smoke into tissue and it was brown, it meant you had cancer, I went to the bathroom, closed the door, lit up a cigarette and exhaled into a piece of toilet paper (I never inhaled) and sure enough it turned brown. I was scared and tried talking myself out of the idea that I had cancer because I hadn't been smoking for more than a month, and not that many cigarettes, and I knew plenty of adults who smoked all the time, some as many as three packs a day--but I couldn't ask them to exhale into tissue because they'd get suspicious... so I worried I might have cancer, off and on I worried, for hmm, years?

I used to think that the turn signal in your car was telling the driver which way to turn (guess I never noticed the driver operating the lever), and you absolutely HAD to turn the direction they were blinking, even if they were blinking the wrong direction.

I thought chewing gum stayed in your stomach for a really, really long time--possibly forever... but I ate in, anyway and worried about what all that chewing gum was doing in there

For some strange reason, I thought that our family was one of very few people that wore pajamas to bed. Most everyone else just wore regular clothes to bed. No idea where that came from.

I was sure I saw Santa come into the kitchen and eat cookies and wash 'em down with milk, but I am not so sure now
