G.O.P. Seeks to Empower Poll Watchers, Raising Intimidation Worries
The red dot of a laser pointer circled downtown Houston on a map during a virtual training of poll watchers by the Harris County Republican Party. It highlighted densely populated, largely Black, Latino and Asian neighborhoods.

"This is where the fraud is occurring," a county Republican official said falsely in a leaked video of the training, which was held in March. A precinct chair in the northeastern, largely white suburbs of Houston, he said he was trying to recruit people from his area "to have the confidence and courage" to act as poll watchers in the circled areas in upcoming elections.

The racism isn't even hidden anymore. Point to communities of color and then claim they are committing fraud.

Not as intimidating as having the DNC do the same, and then end up stealing an election. I'd hate to imagine having to live in a country where election results can't even be trusted, and investigations are shut down.

Or having armed thugs show up at polling places. Remember the Black Panthers and Obama?

If that ever happens, it'll be pretty bad.

I'd hate to imagine having to live in a country where election results can't even be trusted, and investigations are shut down.

Then why don't you trust them?

They weren't thugs; they were poll watchers.

That is a falsehood. The DNC did not steal the election. Trump lost and became a bad example of one who lost.

I responded to post #8. I saw no request being made.

Seems to me you were asking for "evidence". Which is asking for evidence that no fraud occurred.

This is called "proving the negative" and that's not an easy thing to do.

Evidence?
Evidence of something that didn't happen? As in your false claim that the DNC stole the election.

There is no evidence that the DNC stole the election. 60+ court cases and nothing to show it was stolen.

Poll watchers need to come from both sides.

And the testimony they give about what they see, along with videos they can show, shouldn't be dismissed as a conspiracy theory. Otherwise, what's the use of poll watchers being there?

Example:

Aggrieved Republicans Offer Little Evidence Of Election Fraud In Seven Hour Hearing

In a conspiracy-laden seven-hour hearing, Republican poll challengers and watchers testified in front of the Michigan Senate Oversight Committee. Despite accusations, they did not provide evidence of widespread voter fraud.

Dozens of mostly aggrieved Republicans testified Tuesday. Many raised concerns with the ballot counting process at the TCF Center in Detroit and said they were harassed by election workers.

Others repeated debunked conspiracy theories about Dominion Voting Systems, errors in Antrim County, birthdates from the year 1900 on ballots, and a batch of ballots that arrived in the middle of the night—all of which have been explained by state and local election officials or debunked by reporting.

And what did the lawyers for Sidney Powell say?
Sidney Powell’s legal defense: ‘Reasonable people’ wouldn’t believe her election fraud claims

Ex-Trump attorney Sidney Powell's weekslong campaign to invalidate the results of the 2020 election was not based in fact, her lawyers said Monday.

“No reasonable person would conclude that the statements were truly statements of fact,” Powell's attorneys said in a court filing defending her against a billion-dollar defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems, the manufacturer of the election equipment she claimed was involved in the conspiracy to steal the election.

Evidence?

Evidence that Donald lost? Here's a photo from January 20, 2021:

upload_2021-5-2_18-13-26.jpeg

(HINT: That guy with his hand on the Bible, being sworn in as POTUS? That ain't Donald.)

Evidence that Donald is a bad example of one who lost? Would you like the examples listed alphabetically or chronologically?

But I must say that: having served one term,
being impeached twice, with a bipartisan vote to convict both times,
having two campaign managers and several associates arrested, convicted, and imprisoned, necessitating pardons,
having the homes of two of his personal attorneys raided by the FBI, one of whom eventually ended up in prison,
and having been banned for life from the two largest social media platforms...

...Donald wasn't really setting a good example in general, never mind "of one who lost."

Two guys standing outside a polling place, one with a billy club. Link.
From link:
“Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center, which lists the N[ew]B[lack]P[anther]P[arty] as a hate group, described the conservative media's handling of the case as amounting to a ‘tempest in a teacup’.”
Oh yeah. Yawn.
