How do you feel when you hear "God doesn't care about your self-esteem"?

True or false? Most people haven't matured past the age of fifteen and so are still desperate to be invited to sit at the "The Cool Kids' Table" in the high school cafeteria.

I agree. But even though I know that preaching the Gospel and being true to God's will is more important than being accepted by our fellow man, I still have trouble talking about Jesus and the Gospel with people I don't know. I have pretty bad social anxiety in general and only feel comfortable talking about it with other Christians or close friends and family. With strangers or new acquaintances I usually don't go further than a vague "God bless" or telling them I'm a Christian. I've only been a Christian for a few years, so hopefully I grow more firm and bold in my faith in the future
