Friends on FB

I have a friend on here I want (by mutual agreement) to be friends with on fb. Try as we might, we can't seem to find each other and the fb address system isn't working either. Any ideas?

I am not on FB, but a friend told me you could try this ~

Go to your TIMELINE
click on FRIENDS
at top of Friends Page click SEARCH BY NAME
Insert 'NAME OF FRIEND' and click to go-search

Hi, could one of you try going into edit your profile and maybe add a letter or two to the beginning of your name temporarily just to make it unique? get the other person to search for that and maybe it will come up. Then you can change it back later.

I don't know if this will work, its just a guess but might be worth a try.

This is what will differentiate
between so-many similar names

I had a feeling FB might not be the best place to connect. Do you have any idea how many "Michael McMillan"s there are? Plenty. It would be a job and a half for my friends to find me on FB simply because there's so many needles in that haystack.

Hi everyone. Thanks for all the help. I have already done all that you have suggested and nothing has worked. Now I can't access Words With Friends on FB - maybe I am not meant to be there ...

Get their email address and search using that.

First though, have them go to their privacy settings under how people can find them and make sure the search by email is activated.

You can also do the search settings using more than one filter like name, location. OR all you need to is have your friend find YOU and send a friend request. Try that
