We had a surprise visit in our back garden when two foxes came in the daytime and were playing together. I thought this was quite surprising,as I thought foxes are nocturnal and only come out at night. We are in the UK. They were there for a good 20 minutes and were unaware that we were watching them. Have others experience of this?

Not for a long time, we used to see foxes when we first moved in and the houses had taken over the fields. There used to be a farm on this land before the builders moved in.

The Scriptures say 'It is the little foxes that spoil the vine'. Foxes can cause great damage, although the two I saw looked innocent enough. When foxes are left to their own devices they can cause havoc, but I don't approve of foxhunting

I think fox usually hunt at night, but I have seen them out in the early morning after sunrise and evening before sunset. I've seen one in our neighborhood. They are beautiful creatures. I'm in the US. Species in the UK may behave differently in terms of their hunting habits.

These were certainly beautiful animals to look at. They were peaceful as they played together

I've seen wild turkeys. Massively cool! Deer, too, but they're more common. Always pretty, though. There's a property near us with donkeys. Yay, donkeys.
I think donkeys are so sweet and I have to smile when I think of them :)
I've never seen wild turkeys

I was literally just doing an internet search for images of donkeys.:p:rolleyes:

I love them, too. They have the softest noses, and sweet, sad eyes. You just want to grab them and hug them.

Dang, now I want a donkey.

Visions of your donkey (virtual of course), they have some beautiful colours on their coats, quite subtle shades.
I have to get some sleep, Church in the morning. Goodnight, God Bless
