Forum Suggestion.

Excuse me if there is already a place for this, but I suggest a specific forum for conversation about non-canonical books from early Christians, (Example is the Gospel of Thomas), along with conversation about writings by the Fathers of the Early Church, the Popes, etc. Or would these, at least the non-canonical books just go into Controversial Christian Theology?

Conversations about writings by the ECF can go in Patristics, but would probably get more input in Traditional Theology (subforum of General Theology).

Completely spurious books such as the Gospel of Thomas I don't know - Controversial is probably the best place to discuss them in a positive light, or Traditional could give input on how the early Church viewed them.

Quite a bit of info/discussion is available with Eastern Orthodox members too, St. Justin's subforum in The Ancient Way allows debate if wanted, or discussion/questions would be appropriate in TAW itself.
