• Welcome to Christian Forums
  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

Ecclesiology is the branch of theology that is concerned with the nature, constitution, and functions of a church.

Welcome to the Ecclesiology forum. Our goal with this forum is to provide a place where Christians of all denominations can discuss matters of the church and learn from eachother. And at the same time learn more about and grow closer to the God that started the church and has done so much for us.

The Bible calls the church "The Family of God." We are adopted sons and daughters of God now. As in any family there are fights and disagreements with the kids but the Father's Word is final. Let's remember that one of the main rules that our Father has given us is to "Love your neighbor as yourself."

Also Please take these verse to heart while posting.

    2 Timothy 2
24And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone,
able to teach, not resentful. 25Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the
truth, 26and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

    James 3:13-18

"13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace."

Here is a link to all of the CF rules

But the two rules which I believe needs to be mentioned here is:

Rule No. 1 - No "Flaming"

    1) You will not post any messages that harrass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member or guest. You may discuss another member's beliefs but there will be no personal attacks on the member himself or herself.

Blackhawk: No persoanl attacks will be tolerated. One can disagree with beliefs but must never get personal. This includes name calling and degradation of character. Please just address the issues and not the people behind them. If you do have an issue with a poster please PM me or another moderator. We will address it if necessary.

Rule No. 2 - No "Trolling"

    2) You will not post any topic that disrupts the peace and harmony of the atmosphere of this forum or another group. This will include any new user with less than 50 posts starting a "discretionable" topic - i.e. a topic not suitable for children. This will also include posts that put down another Christian group or denomination. Such behaviour is grounds for immediate suspension.

Blackhawk: So No bashing of any religious organization. This is not the place for accusing a denomination of not being Christian. In praticular note that Christian Forums states that Catholics are Christians, which they are, and that calling them non Christian will not be tolerated. It will not be allowed here. Period.

If you do not like these rules or can't live by them then CF is not the place for you.

But to the many that can live by these rules I am happy that you are here. Please have fun discussing and learning more about the church. I know i will.

We teamed up with Faith Counseling. Can they help you today?
