CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am frustrated as I have to get an estimate to (1) repair/replace some of the outside trims of the house and have all of them painted, (2) service the heat pump, and (3) have a back-up battery installed on my sum pump in case we lose electricity this winter. I don't have any cash to do all that and had to increase my credit limit to be able to pay with the credit card.
It's hard to have to do all that all alone and without the funds necessary. I'm only increasing my debt amount! Keep me in your prayers, asking God to provide and to help me find strength and joy in Him during these challenging times.

morning, folks! praying for bridgit and beliving she'll get an amazing answer! glad to see you all here, and got one more day before my one day off this week, and am actually looking forward to seeing my mom, her husband, and his sister, as we're planning on going to a festival by my mom's house that should be fun for us all! oh, yes, did i mention that i got an amazing answer myself for that provision situation i had? if not, it was utterly amazing, and i'm still praising God for His answers to it all!
