While driving for hours to deer camp this last week, I happened to catch some of the conference broadcasted via radio.

I probably qualify more as a Protestant, but I just wanted to share that I can agree with the positions and reasoning involved with this document.
With that said and seeing that Thanksgiving is just around the corner, I wanted to also express my appreciation for the work and focus I find coming from my Catholic brothers and sisters.

Thank you and my God bless you all.

I have not read the whole document yet - I am waiting for a printed copy to show up free somewhere. It would cost $4.00 to print it and I do not want to read such a long document online.

What, in particular, did you like about it?

About the document or the conference?

The conference struck me as an extremely courteous discussion, educational and with a few moments of humor present.

The document would include the more obvious or repeated position with respecting life and being against support/advocacy of intrinsically evil acts such as abortion, fetal stem cell research, terrorism, injustice, etc.

I think that one of the best things about Catholicism is the collective moral leadership and wisdom it offers to people of all faiths throughout the world.

There are many Churches, but many denominations are independent, with each church completely autonomous.

I appreciate the work the bishops do here in the United States.
