Across the country, in the wake of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, the abortion debate is giving rise to political candidates motivated by abortion.
Yet the Bible does not shy away from the reality of human beauty e.g.
Now Laban had two daughters; the older was named Leah, and the younger was named Rachel. 17Leah had weak eyes,a but Rachel was shapely and beautiful. 18Since Jacob loved Rachel, he answered, “I will serve you seven years for your younger daughter Rachel.”
The phrase above, quoted from the linked article, gives a holier than thou impression. Why not simply say beautiful in physical appearance or just not mention beauty at all?
