Proverbs 22:3
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

Right now I'm thinking:
This backpack.
This as a sleeping solution.

I can also use this stuff for the feast of tabernacles. I don't have hundreds of dollars to go spending on a tent either and expect I'll have some others with me if a situation like this does every happen.

You need a good knife and a couple different sources for fire making. Being able to make fire in an emergency situation is crucial. It gives one a sense of control and is needed for water purification/food prep.

It's not a bad idea to start learning basic skills now such as: food acquisition, shelter building, first aid, navigation, etc. You can never be too prepared.
