Christ crucified is preached, and nothing else is to be determined among the ones who say they believe in Christ, but Christ crucified ?

1 Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

Because we have been planted ( by God in the faith of His Son Jesus Christ crucified)

Our old man is crucified ( the old man was the law and our schoolmaster, to bring us to Christ, Galatians 3:24-25, then we are NO LONGER UNDER A SCHOOLMASTER/ NO LONGER UNDER THE LAW)

He that is dead ( from that law of sin and death) is freed from sin ( WE ARE BECOME DEAD TO THE LAW BY THE BODY OF JESUS CHRIST CRUCIFIED, ROMANS 7:4)

Sin has no dominion to those under grace, which is those no longer under the law.

Romans 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Galatians 5:1 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Those led of the Spirit ( not led of the letter of the law in ordinances, who are yet in the flesh) have crucified the flesh ( by being crucified with Christ in baptism and the faith of Jesus Christ, to be baptized with the same baptism Jesus was baptized with, Matthew 20:23)...

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

We know Romans 7:4 tells us we are, DEAD TO THE LAW BY THE BODY OF JESUS CHRIST.

Romans 8 confirms the law was weak through the flesh ( through those led of the flesh, who are under the law)

The Spirit then of life in Christ makes us free FROM THE LAW IF SIN AND DEATH. ( remembering sin has no dominion over us as we are not under the law but under grace, and we are become dead to the law by the body of Jesus Christ)...

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Some then are in the law, others are without law.

The Gentiles conscience now bears witness, to do by nature ( not by the letter and ordinance) the things contained in the law, to be justified..

Romans 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

The law only speaks to those under the law, and all the world becomes guilty before God.

Now to them that are without law, but under the law to Christ to God..

Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

1 Corinthians 9:21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

Cursed are every one under the works of the law, to do all things that are written in the book of the law to do them.

As we were under that schoolmaster, until faith should come....

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Galatians 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

Faith comes and law ( the schoolmaster) IS NO LONGER.

Now all are children of God by faith ( no need for any man to desire to be teachers of the law)

The ones baptized ( to Christs death and Crucifixion) have put on Christ ( which is to put off law and the flesh)...

1 Timothy 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

Galatians 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

But many still desire to be under the law, but there is a disannulling of the weakness and unprofitableness of the law ( the law was weak through the flesh now we must believe to be in the Spirit/ determined to not know anything but Christ and Christ crucified)

Galatians 4:21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?

Hebrews 7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

When you go to the nonbelieving sinner do you want Him to accept a doctrine, a book, a church, a philosophy, or are you trying to get the sinner to accept Jesus Christ and Him Crucified?

If the sinner does accept Jesus Christ and Him Crucified a child is set free to enter the kingdom and be with his/her Father, but if the sinner refuses Jesus Christ and Him Crucified a child it held back from his/her Father, which describes the actions of a criminal, undeserving kidnapper.

Jesus, Paul, Peter, John and the author of Hebrews defines Jesus Christ and Him Crucified as a literal ransom.

So is this what you are talking about?

Christ crucified is not talk about law, as it is not talk about faith.

Neither is selfish talk talk about Christ crucified, as Christ crucified shows His laying of life down for us, to believe in and follow after.
1 Corinthians 15:3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

The word translated “for” which is “hyper” in the Greek meaning: over, beyond, on behalf of, for the sake of, concerning.

I think we can agree: “Christ died because of our sins” and the same Greek word “hyper” is used in

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

This can also seem to mean “because of us”.

The Greek word for “instead of” (anti) is not used in these passage and even “anti” can mean “on behalf of”, “for the sake of”, and “because of”, like when used "an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, evil for evil.
