I don't agree with his politics, in fact I think most Republicans have abohrent and callous attitudes and beliefs, especially concerning the Coronavirus pandemic, Ron Wright was no exception. But even people with foolish beliefs at times deserves sympathy.

Some politicians are misusing the CDC advice. Schools need to be installing UV-C sanitizers, bipolar ionization, and air-to-air heat exchanges in their HVAC systems, instead they are going down to Costco and buying air purifiers that will sit in a corner of a room and recirculate the same air over and over.

I wouldn't trust that, either, with my family or my life.

What we are getting is theater, not substantive improvements in the air quality in schools. Schools are simply not ready to reopen, not when 1/4 of teachers have underlying health conditions that put them at significant risk from dying from COVID.

Politicians have the business community breathing down their neck trying to get kids back into schools at all costs because alot of women are staying at home taking care of kids instead of doing the usual capitalist consumer rat race.

They aren't doing this because they are sincerely worried about kids educational opportunities.
