You're ignoring the fact that the vast majority of cases were asymptomatic or mild. Does science ignore facts like that when deciding that cases are only mild if a person is vaccinated? Or is that only the job of people who simply talk big about science while cherry-picking the parts of it they like?

No one is ignoring that. But you appear to be ignoring the statistics that tell us how serious it is. And you clearly ignore the statistics that demonstrate that the vaccines work.
