Hello you and here are the other following books done so far (They are not really finished but for the most part they have been condensed down) where you can see the original language and get more of a understanding of the words being used when going verse by verse.

Thank you for everyone who has taken time to go over what is being offered unto you; hopefully God, and the Lord Jesus Christ by the spirit will teach you something you did not understand before or have yet to come to a knowledge to.

Praise be to God and the wonderful things that he can do for a person in their life, and may he receive thanksgiving for all that he has done, and the Lord Jesus Christ has done for the whole world!

Colossians Chapter 4: 1-5 (NKJV)

Paul, and timothy are fixing to sum up the letter that is given to the Colossians, in Colosse who are saints, faithful in Christ, and elect - chosen people.

1 Masters, give your bondservants what is just and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

Verse 1: Paul is telling the people in Colosse who are Master (over working) - to give to their bondservants or slaves - what is just and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. (So Paul is reminding them to remain just and fair, not to be forgetful that they too have a Master in heaven who is watching over them as well)

2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;

Verse 2: Paul is telling them: Continue earnestly in prayer: being vigilant in prayer with thanksgiving.

Prayer: Cognate: 4335 proseux (from 4314 /prós, "towards, exchange" and 2171/euxe, "a wish, prayer") – properly, exchange of wishes; prayer. See 4335 (proseuxomai).Usage: (a) prayer (to God), (b) a place for prayer (used by Jews, perhaps where there was no synagogue).

earnestly/steadfast:
4342 proskarteréō (from 4314 /prós, "towards, interactively with" and 2594 /karteréō, "show steadfast strength," derived from 2904 /krátos, "prevailing strength") – properly, to consistently showing strength which prevails (in spite of difficulties); to endure (remain firm), staying in a fixed direction.

[4342 /proskarteréō means "to continue to do something with intense effort, with the possible implication of despite difficulty – 'to devote oneself to, to keep on, to persist in'" (L & N, 1, 68.68).]

vigilant: 1127 grēgoreúō – literally, "stay awake"; (figuratively) be vigilant (responsible, watchful)

3 meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains,

Verse 3: Paul ask them to pray from them also, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, which Paul is also in chains.

chains/bound: Usage: I bind, tie, fasten; I impel, compel; I declare to be prohibited and unlawful. 1210. deó

4 that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

Verse 4: that he may be able to speak and manifest the truth of the Gospel of Christ Jesus.

5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.

Verse 5: Paul explains to the colossians to walk in wisdom, towards those who are outside redeeming the time. (Those who are without Christ / outside)

Redeeming: 1805 eksagorázō (from 1537 /ek, "completely out from" which intensifies 59 /agorázō, "buy-up at the marketplace") – properly, take full advantage of, seizing a buying-opportunity, i.e. making the most of the present opportunity (recognizing its future gain). Note the prefix (ek) which lends the meaning, "out and out," "fully" (WS, 917.)

6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

Verse 6: Paul explains to let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each outsider.

Grace:
Cognate: 5485 xáris (another feminine noun from xar-, "favor, disposed to, inclined, favorable towards, leaning towards to share benefit") – properly, grace. 5485 (xáris) is preeminently used of the Lord's favor – freely extended to give Himself away to people (because He is "always leaning toward them").

5485 /xáris ("grace") answers directly to the Hebrew (OT) term 2580 /Kaná ("grace, extension-toward"). Both refer to God freely extending Himself (His favor, grace), reaching (inclining) to people because He is disposed to bless (be near) them.

[5485 (xáris) is sometimes rendered "thanks" but the core-idea is "favor, grace" ("extension towards").]

Colossians 4: 7-18

We are now at the end of Colossians: Paul and Timothy are wrapping everything up.

7 Tychicus, a beloved brother, faithful minister, and fellow servant in the Lord, will tell you all the news about me. 8 I am sending him to you for this very purpose, that he may know your circumstances and comfort your hearts, 9 with Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will make known to you all things which are happening here.

Verse 7-9 Paul mentions a few names, Tychicus, and Onesimus with him, they are both fellow servants in the Lord, Tychicus being a minister. They are going to be coming to the Colossians after receiving this letter, they are going to make things going on with Timothy and Paul, which are happening around them.

10 Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, with Mark the cousin of Barnabas (about whom you received instructions: if he comes to you, welcome him), 11 and Jesus who is called Justus. These are my only fellow workers for the kingdom of God who are of the circumcision; they have proved to be a comfort to me.

Verse 10-11 A fellow Prisoner Aristarchus, that is with Paul and Timothy, also Mark the cousin of Barnabas, if he comes to the Colossians to greet and welcome Mark, and Jesus who is called Justus, these are the only fellow works for the kingdom of God who are of the circumcision, and have proved to be a comfort to Paul and Timothy.

12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. 13 For I bear him witness that he has a great zeal for you, and those who are in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis. 14 Luke the beloved physician and Demas greet you. 15 Greet the brethren who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas and the church that is in his house.

Verse 12 Epaphras who was with them, sends greetings, he is a slave of Christ, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Verse 13 Paul bears witness Epaphras great zeal for them, and to those who are in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis, Luke, greets them, Demas.

Verse 14 - 15 Paul ask to greet the brothers who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church that is in his house.

16 Now when this epistle is read among you, see that it is read also in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you likewise read the epistle from Laodicea. 17 And say to Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.”

Verse 16-17 Paul explains once this letter has been read among you, send it to be read in the Laodiceans church, and likewise to read the letter from Laodicea, and tell Archippus, to take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.

18 This salutation by my own hand—Paul. Remember my chains. Grace be with you. Amen.

verse 18 Paul exclaims that his own salutation is by his own hand, and to remember he is in chains, and that Grace be with them Amen.
