Surely you do not find election fraud to be strange.

To the extent that has been accused (without evidence), I find it exceedingly strange, and very unlikely.

-- A2SG, I might even call it virtually impossible.....

Harris would have won due to fraud the same as Biden. So if they were both disqualified because of fraud, then the Speaker of the House would become the president.
Who are you accusing of fraud on a massive/widespread scale?

Biden loses because of a lack of preponderance of evidence against MyPillow Guy?

Or are we forgetting that MPG is the defendant?
That kinda stuff always happens on Perry Mason.

We're talking about the likelihood of an overturn based on this case.
Worse legal theories have been kicked around regarding the recent election...

If the pillow guy proves his claims of fraud, that will mean Biden and Harris actually lost the election.

The Pillow guy isn't in court to prove his claims of fraud; he's in court to defend himself against (I presume) libel and/or slander.

For him to lose, the plaintiff must prove via a preponderance of evidence two things.

1. MyPillow Guy lied,
2. MyPillow Guy had malicious intent.

Most such cases lose because while 1. is easy enough, 2. is nearly impossible to prove absent a confession.

MyPillow Guy cannot prove his claims are true -- Donald's team tried, and they lost all over the country. Therefore, his only hope is to convince a judge that he sincerely believes the nonsense he's been spewing out.

Easy enough to win his case, but it doesn't hurt Biden in the slightest.

3. The plaintiff suffered losses. Otherwise number 1 and number 2 are symbolic only.

Lindell says he welcomes the lawsuit so that he can prove his accusations of fraud are true. He obviously believes he will win. I can't say for sure he won't.

Billion dollar media companies have the sense to back off these claims for fear of the cost, the owner of a largish company has no chance. He's going down in flames, at best.

Prove is innocence by proving fraud, which I'm sure he'd consider a victory.
He's going to be the one that's going to do that where all the others have failed because... reasons?

A win at this point would be a settlement that does not lead to life long financial ruin.
