It is a sobering verse.
Would be nice if you gave us the text location and verse number(s).
Yes, sobering..
The reluctance to seek God, which isn't even a rational choice, is what probably stands in the way..
Good point. If it wasnt for our fear of rejection too.

Well, it's perhaps like sheep, because we are perhaps like sheep...This is why I find the word revival wierd.
Gods ways are higher. It would be easy to understand if only lucifer and his angels were the ones going to hell but God doesnt do things based on how I feel.Good point.
Lack or deficit in faith either way..
Oh, are you stuck with the moral problems of the traditional view regarding the fate of the unsaved?Gods ways are higher. It would be easy to understand if only lucifer and his angels were the ones going to hell but God doesnt do things based on how I feel.

What makes this verse interesting is the amount of Christians in the world that has proclaimed they found IT. If all professing Christians in the world today have actually found what Jesus was talking about, then wouldn't this scripture be rendered useless? It is a sobering verse.

It seems to me that in order for this scripture to hold true, we have to assume that most, if not all, that profess Christianity have not actually found it...
I think this, is, what makes this a sobering thought, IMO.
