Hello! My wife and I are looking for fellow believers who would like to start a Christian support group. I'm hesitant to call it a Bible study due to everyone's preconceived notions of what that looks like. Our goal is to find a group that would be able to meet weekly. We want to study the Word but really focus on being there for one another and helping each other through real life issues by leaning into God and leaning into one another.
Since this is the internet and, lets face it, there are weirdos out there, my thought was that we could do our initial meet 'n greet at a place like the Olive Garden or something similar. This would allow everyone to get to know each other and break the ice. From there we can play it by ear. I would love this group to really be comfortable going with the flow.
