I've not heard of those Phoebe Ann, but I like mysteries which have a bit of suspense, but little violence. I'll look them up. There was a British black and white film called Green for Danger, starring Alistair Sim and Trevor Howard, which I enjoyed years ago.

I don't recall Green for Danger. I'll look that up. The movie Love Letters might not be one you'd watch. Jennifer Jones had blood on her dress and couldn't remember what happened, but the viewers of the movie knew.

I just looked. I'm not sure but I've watch a lot of old British movies and I think I had to have seen it.
