if this has already been done im sorry. but I thought it would be nice to put a few of our favorite bible passages from any part of the bible. here are a couple of mine.
luke 22 verse 36, but now one who has a money bag should take it, and likewise a sack, and one who does not have a sword should sell his cloak and buy one.
prov 18 verse 6, the fools lips lead him into strife and his mouth provokes a beating.
prov19 verse 1, better a poor man who walks in his integrity than he who is crooked in his ways and rich

OK, this isn't really my all-time favorite but: "No, but you did laugh" (Gen 18:15).

I always crack up when I read this...

God: Why did Sarah laugh?
Sarah: Oh, I didn't laugh!
God: Yeahhhh..... but you did.

Probably only funny to me.

" Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. " ( Rev 3:20 ) .

What is your opinion? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills and go in search of the stray And if he finds it, amen, I say to you, he rejoices more over it than over the ninety-nine that did not stray. (Matthew 18:12-13)

No. It's the humanity, isn't it? The Bible is full of such humour, yet it seems easy to miss. Many think of it as dry as dust.

"Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba , Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir." (Galatians 4:6,7)
