The First Amendment Defense Act, commonly known as FADA, has been reintroduced in Congress by Senator Mike Lee of Utah and 21 other Republicans despite being called harmful, discriminatory and the vilest anti-LGBT religious freedom bill of our time" by gay rights advocates.

The bill, Lee said, is designed to prevent the federal government from discriminating against individuals or institutions based on their beliefs about marriage.

What an individual or organization believes about the traditional definition of marriage is not and should never be a part of the government's decision-making process when distributing licenses, accreditations or grants, Lee said in a statement. The First Amendment Defense Act simply ensures that this will always be true in America that federal bureaucrats will never have the authority to require those who believe in the traditional definition of marriage to choose between their living in accordance with those beliefs and maintaining their occupation or their tax status.

The bill was last introduced in the House and Senate in 2015 but did not make it out of committee. Jeff Sessions, now attorney general and then a senator from Alabama, was one of FADA's original sponsors, and in December 2016, President-elect Donald Trump said he would support the legislation.

If your a business that receives "Federal Funds" you can't discriminate against those who believe homosexuality and same sex marriage are wrong biblically, and morally.

Homosexuals have tried to infiltrate many churches, employment, teachers, etc.

The Liberals have been trying to take away Churches "Non-Profit" status over this issue, (FADA) stops the Liberal agenda.

Currently in Canada, they are making many laws to discriminate against individuals, churches, organizations, that oppose homosexuality (FADA) will protect from this.

Many sins were punishable by death in the old covenant. The new covenant is about love not following the letter of the law. To put sinners to death takes away their ability to repent and turn to God. Ultimately we would be sealing their fate in the lake of fire. I didn’t come to Christ until I was 39 years old. If those laws had been in place I would’ve been killed long before I had a chance to turn to God.

Romans 1:32 relates also to Romans 1:31 and Romans 1:30 so it would appear the sins of fornication, and being disobedient to parents, is also worthy of death.

Thats...quite funny. I hope it was intentional. Your poor cherry pick of scripture doesn't magically get better with reposting, in case you were not aware. The They you are so fond of relates back to Romans 1:21, and refers to disbelievers in general, which ironically, is not a pure superset of homosexuals.

ETA: Personally, I think Paul is having yet another go at people that frequent pagan temples, he really had a bee in his bonnet over that.
