PolitiFact - Fact-checking Mike Pence, night 3 of the 2020 RNC
In accepting the Republican Party nomination on Aug. 27, Vice President Mike Pence accurately recounted the history of Baltimore's Fort McHenry, and how a failed British bombardment in 1814 helped inspire Francis Scott Key to write "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Pence's attacks on Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, on the other hand, were sometimes misleading, incomplete or wrong.

Only a leftist outlet like Politifact would fact check hyperbole on a Republican.
I'm not sure how "checking the accuracy of the claims someone is making" can be considered "leftist"? Are you suggesting if someone is a politician they should be allowed to be as inaccurate as they like? Not be held accountable to tell the truth while making a speech?
tulc(isn't sure that sounds like a good thing)

Not all Republicans are speaking B.S...Some actually reason upon facts and speak forthrightly.
I would welcome more of that. Having said that, Politifact is leftwing and has a tendency to ding Republicans for hyperbole in a way that they never do to Democrats.

Fact-checking Mike Pence, night 3 of the 2020 RNC

The Vice President conveniently forgot to mention that the individual charged with 2 murders in Kenosha, Wisconsin was a pro Trump supporter pictured in the front row of one of his rallies - if Kyle Rittenhouse had been a Biden supporter, Republicans would have it on the airwaves 24/7!

Now FOXNEWS is attempting to justify his actions by claiming that he was just came armed with a rifle to Kenosha trying to maintain "order!"

What examples come to your mind as hyperbole from Democrats? I can think of a few but there are degrees.
