I saw the interview. I was shocked at the lack of knowledge shown by this president concerning the continuing absence of an adequate Covid-19 response. It is clear to me that Trump just plain doesn't understand on a fundamental level, that it doesn't matter how much testing we're currently conducting, or that he stopped flights from China, since we're not effectively tracking and containing the virus that continues to spread.

Jonathon Swan was practically begging to let him explain to the president that the problem is about America still not having a test that shows fast enough results so that there can be an effective trace and containment strategy that will work. But Trump just wouldn't or couldn't hear it, and he continually shook his head in defiance, interrupting and trying to correct Mr. Swan by saying over and over again that the reason why the infection rate is so high is because we do way more testing.

Mr. Swan then tried to use the death numbers going up to try and explain, that a quick test is not for trying to find out how many people have it, a quick test is vital to implementing a strategy of tracking and containing the contagion. But the president still didn't get it, and he then began showing charts of how our death rate is lower per the infection rate when compared to other countries, as if this had anything to do with the tracking and containing Mr. Swann was talking about.

Then as if this wasn't frustrating enough to watch, Trump just wipes out of his mind the entire narrative by exclaiming that we didn't even have a test when He took office, displaying the ignorance that a virus first has to exist before a test can even be developed. This president after all this time, still doesn't have a clue, and seems defiantly unteachable in a prejudice that everyone is only out to get him.

The crowd size, is an estimate by the fire department more accurate than the metal detector that keeps a count on the number of times it was cycled? Then when they cannot dispute the number of tests being higher than any other country they attack the attack the reason for the tests. Just a few examples but read the article and give it some thought.

So thats your best thing, the trivial nonsense? Trump was going non stop about most tests, who gives a bleep about the number of tests? 1400 dying a day in the US and all he cares is they get most tests done, well guess what you have plenty of tests, but it's still stupdily too low a number to be of any importance. You still have people in many areas waiting weeks for results. he knows he's lost on how many people are dying, and how out of control the virus is, so he brags about having most tests, well guess what to be of any use there needs to be FAR FAR more tests done.

When you are using an exact number, you should be close to accurate. There is a huge difference between 29 years and 57 years.

But also, I tend to trust the count coming from the venue more then I trust the count coming from the Trump campaign. I don't think it was nitpicky it's more trump cherry picking the one thing that the US is doing best in, except it doens't make him look good, and makes him look like he's desperate. Every other way they are doing worse, and ohhh most testing, while still way WAY too low a number to be effective. Trumps also the guy that whines about testing all the time.

It doesn't matter how many tests we do. What matters is that the test results are known quickly so that tracking and containing can be done quickly. That is why Jonathon Swan asked when the same testing the Whitehouse gets will be made available to the public. That test shows results in probably fifteen minutes. I really don't think this president ever had any intention of doing tracking and containment of the virus. He's just letting it spread and that's why we're where we're at.

This President may not read his daily briefings or be aware that the Russians have placed a bounty on American troops in Afghanistan BUT when it comes to underestimates of his crowd size in Tulsa or the media failing to mention his FOXNEWS ratings - that's a different story!

Even in the middle of a Pandemic, crowd size and FOXNEW's ratings are top priorities in "Trumpworld" - the lives of 155,000 deaths or millions of American families losing their benefits, no so much!

what has trump DONE? It's been 4-6 months since this started, and he's NOW doing something, the guy isn't doing anything to actually help and neither are you yes men.
