Well, sorry to butt into your conversation, but I really want to answer this from my experience with Father Testing me. I would say for the very same reasons He tested Abraham is why He tests us even though He knows the end. It's for our benefit. Test show us Fathers Faithfullness, love, judgement, Grace while giving us wisdom of Him, ourselves and how to act and react in situations. The tests teach us to cling to him and rely on him for our entire livelyhood. Testing brings forth a refinement that gets rid of the Old person within while making us look more like Jesus. It testifies of many aspects of a Father in our trials and testings. It gives us a Testimony of His Hand and power and prepares us for the individual wills he has written for our Roles in His Kingdom to show the Glory of Everything Yahweh Truly is .

With out quoting scripture, i believe God goes in and out of control of his universes because he likes a challenge but doesn't like to be defeated. This is pure speculation. If you disagree that is completely acceptable as far as i'm concerned. A great video to watch on youtube is "10 dimensions explained". Come on Brother, don't be like that. Hear the person out. Let them speak. We have to hear before we make rash judgement and accuse another of false things because it isn't worded the way we would. Ask this person of their story and seek to see what you can offer to this sibling in Christ.

Because believing what God says about His Love and how He shows it in never Leaving or forsaking us goes a long way. After all without Faith, nobody can please God. Believing that we are eternally secure in Him is Faith.

That really wasn't my point. I was answering someone who doesn't believe salvation is eternal.

And according to what we see in scripture, these are the ones God chastises and corrects to make them stop doing this. If these people are able to continue in sin in the flesh without God's correction, then they are showing themselves to not be actual believers.

A lot of people have some "faith" like that IN SOMETHING.
Faith IN SOMETHING does not gain eternal life.
Multitudes with faith IN SOMETHING are resurrected to destruction.

read and understand Scripture
via the leading of the Holy Spirit.

It does considering we don't live in heaven but the Kingdom comes to us from Heaven.
