Well we'll have to raise taxes in the future in order to pay for the debt, thats no brainer. And probably some cuts in domestic spendings, and perhaps temporalily cutting of military budget. Our gov't is paying $200B yearly just for the interests of our debt. But our debt situation isnt the worst or close to it when compared to many others... so don't worry that much... leave some to many others to worry about...

Well, to begin with, we need to rebuild the economic engine of this country. We do that by implementing the following:

  1. Replacing the Federal Reserve with a government-owned and operated Bank of the US
  2. Implementing a new tax code which would include a Flat Tax, a Value Added Tax, and taxes on derrivatives
  3. Dedicating 5% of our GDP to rebuilding our nation's infrastructure as well as macro-engineering projects such as a national high-speed rail network.
  4. Implementing programs that will encourage people to save, America has the lowest rate of savings in the world
  5. Instead of borrowing to finance deficit spending, we should issue the currency to finance deficit spending. But as our economy grows, deficits can become a thing of the past.
  6. Reform health care and implement universal health insurance. Health care costs the USA 15% of her GDP, between health care reform and a gorwing economy, we can reduce that to 5%

The next part of the plan is to rebuild and reform the military. We need to expand our military, implement universal military training, and reinstate the draft. However, we also need to make the following reforms in our military:

  1. Reorganize the US military establishment along the lines of the Israeli Defense Forces
  2. Merge the Army and Marine Corps giving the new outfit command of all combat including strategic bombers and eliminating the air force.
  3. Transfer control of all nuclear weapons to the Navy and allow the Navy to retain its air arm.
  4. Merge the overlaping noncombat arms of the separate armed services into a single service support corps
  5. Eliminate the separate departments of the Army, Navy, and Air Force
  6. Create three types of forces- heavy divisions, indpendent brigades, regiments and groups, and special operations forces.

Finally, we must annex Iraq and A-Stan and once they're rebuilt, they will add to the USAs wealth and power and repay for their reconstruction. We can then go on to liberate more nations from tyranny and terrorism.

Are you serious? While I would agree that it's better to under an American government than any other in the Mid East, but the people over there don't see it that way. They'ld rather have Sharia than democracy.

You annex those 2 countries, and you'll turn the entire arab world against us, including the majority of A-Stan and Iraq's population which would take the terrorists in Iraq and make them a full fledged insurgency with widespread support.

Freeze domestic spending except on Homeland Security and Defence. That means no Social Security, no Medicare, and no Katrina rebuilding, just to name a few.
Invade Venezuela and take over the oil.
Obligate the new Iraq Government to have a special deal with the USA. Let's call it a "Liberation Tax".

This way, we'll finaly be able to do what the democrats have done before... get us back to black.

this sounds so familiar. I read this before on another site some time back where a guy claimed to be representing some wanna be political group called the "Falcon Party" - said almost word for word this same nonsense.

Well, first of all, its the Falconist Party and second, yes, it is part of our platform.

So we turn the Arab nations against us. Guess what, most of them are run by dictatorships and our hit list includes all tyrannical regimes on the planet.

We will remove the despots of Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Pakistan, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, some of the former republics of the USSR, Burma, and China.

We will move into countries that are descending into anarchy such as Haiti and Somalia.

And as we liberate these nations one by one, we will incorporate them into our union and rebuild them into first world societies. Building a more perfect union. Ultimately, the entire world can be united under the stars and stripes and the blessings of freddom, prosperity, democracy, and justice for all people that come with it.
