Evil in the church

Well Im sick and upset...Some things
happened this we that I cant process.
I was ""talked to"" by the conserative/wca
people of the church...I have a part time
Job keeping the church clean and
Repairs...I was told to stop spending
Money....because we have to save
Up to buy the church when we split.
I got commented at when we did a
Bathroom remodel...which was on
The books to do and memorial funds
Earmarked for it. I got talked to about
Fixing/building new church sign.
We have many programs that need to
Be started to help people....no..we can
Spend no money...I even got yelled
At when i wrote a grant to buy a camera
For less than $500 so we could stream
Services...I got the grant.....so it
Was free...and then I got it thrown
In my face...just who give YOU the
Authority to do that !!!!
First, i am the care taker....second the
Board of trustees said yes.
I would walk away and never look back
But for what little I get I need....it is
Half of what the former person got
And I do twice as much, more responsibility.
I was also threatened...the rule was to
Wear mask in church...he is a wca member.
He said he will never wear a mask....he
Then looks at me glaring....so are YOU
going to throw ME out ?.

I thought the bible said what when you
Help the poor, the old, the needy...you
Do that unto me....

But yet....save that money to buy the
The church and farmground back.

I dont think they are worshiping god any more.

Sorry about your experience. I would have long ago left Christianity if I had let some Christians taint my view of Christ. But thankfully, I kept them separate.

Don't be discouraged.

There's a bunch of tares among the wheat and goats among the sheep.

It was that way even in The Old Testament Israel times.

God knows who is legit and who isn't.

Are these people the lay leadership of the church, or are they a small faction within the membership? Is the pastor onboard with this behavior?

If these people control the whole church, there may not be much you can do besides make preparations to go elsewhere and start looking for another cleaning job or paid work doing something else somewhere else.

If they are just a small troublemaking group within the church, I would go directly to church leadership and report what is going on and how they have been treating you.

The WCA isn't exactly the most ethical organization--their goal is to divide and destroy, so it's no surprise that anyone associated with them would behave in this manner. I'm sorry you are caught up in the midst of all this poison.

Ask a Policeman to be there next Sunday. When the wca member refuses to wear a mask --- have him arrested.

Most states have laws in place now.

Find out your state laws and post them so, he has fair warning.
