I recently watched through this series again, I think for the first time since watching it when it first came out a few years ago.
It still holds up very well, even with knowing how the story goes and having read the manga, too. It's a nice little twist on time travel, and it doesn't try to answer all the time-travel-paradox questions, which I'm happy about.
About the only down side is that the ending is different from what's in the manga, and while it's an ok ending to the main conflict, I do prefer how the manga resolves things a good bit more. I really wish the anime could have had maybe an episode or two more, so it could have ended as the manga does.
But that's a mild complaint. Overall, the Erased anime series is very well done, with several moments that will hit your heart; let's just say you'll never look at breakfast in quite the same way again.
