Ellen Alfswith
Age: 77
Race: Elf from the forest Oialasse
The elves are an almost legendary race of beings. And Ellen is a legend among the elves. She is famed in her culture for her regal presence, incredible prowess with weaponry, and quick wit. Even at the young age of four, her sharp tongue exposed bullies and deflated the prideful.
Despite the high regard Ellen is held in, she tends to hold everyone at arms length. Experience has made her wary, and she is slow to trust other beings. Once she does place her trust in someone, her loyalty is unwavering. If that solid trust is ever broken, however, she is at a loss as to how to mend it. Perhaps that is what haunts Ellen and perhaps those such experiences are what have driven her to remain so aloof.
Ellen carries three weapons at all times. Her longbow, of beautiful craft that she herself made; a dagger, bought from a brutal troll craftsman; and a hand-and-a-half sword, equisitely wrought and gifted to her by her father on her 21st birthday--the day of her coming of age. Ellen is generally garbed in the elves' preferred clothing: tunic of muted forest colors such as greens and browns; tall, soft leather boots; a cloak. Most elves wear jewelry of intricate detail, due to their prowess in crafting such items, but Ellen's only such trinket is a simple, enigmatic pendant worn around her neck that seems to hold great meaning to Ellen, and to Ellen alone.
Aside from this, little is known about Ellen Alfswith. Or, perhaps, little has been told about Ellen Alfswith.
But what is not known only remains to be found out....
