As per the discussion in this thread, Erwin has coded the forum to filter out digits as well as pounds and kilograms (abbreviations). The filter replaces these things with #, so if a new member comes in here and gets confused by the change in their posts, feel free to let them know why .

Having said all of this, there is a problem with this filter that we can't quite fix. Each post, thread and forum has its own seperate ID number. By filtering our numbers, quotes and links are also affected. The quotes will still work, but you won't be linked back to the quoted post. With links, the way to fix the filtered part is to re-edit your post just after your post and put the link in then. It should be fine then .

I can do without being linked back to the quoted post. It's all good. This is an awesome new addition to the forum - it's really going to help prevent triggers, and also take some stress off the mods who have to find and catch the numbers before someone reads it and is triggered.

Thanks Erwin and Steffi and the Recovery Mods for caring about us so much that you would go to this extent to protect us from triggers!
