PM: Abbas finally revealed his true colors

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu blasted Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas Monday evening, following comments by the PA leader Sunday evening at a meeting of Palestine Liberation Organization leaders in Ramallah.

Abbas opened the two-day meeting in Ramallah, slamming President Donald Trump during his address, as well as demanding the UK renounce the 1917 Balfour Declaration, and condemning the State of Israel as a “colonial” project by Europe intended to maintain European control over the Middle East.

“Israel is a colonial project with no connection whatsoever to the Jews,” claimed Abbas.

The PA chairman called President Trump’s December 6th recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital a “slap in the face” to the PA, warning that the PA “will slap back”.

“We won’t take orders from anyone,” said Abbas. “We told Trump we will never accept his [peace] plan.

His ‘deal of the century’ is the slap in the face of the century, and we will not accept it.”
As i have predicted in Post# 685 Page #35----`>3 June 2017 .
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
....Abbas want at least the Palestinian territory as it was before 1967 and probably more +obtaining the Status of Independent State for Palestine....

Watch the news who will confirm again what i predicted !

Trump think that he leads the negotiations but that will be Abbas who will impose his conditions and who will have the last word . ---My motto: Mark those words- !

The government just shut down. What happens next? - CNNPolitics

In the final moments leading up to Friday's midnight deadline, Senate Republicans and Democrats were unable to agree on a stopgap funding measure to continue government services.
Throughout the day Saturday, government agencies are either letting their respective staff know they must stay home, or other federally funded organizations, like the Smithsonian, are talking about how they plan to handle the shutdown for the immediate future.
So what happens next? Here's a rundown of what will happen if the government remains shut down.

Furloughs
Thousands of federal employees will be placed on furlough -- meaning they won't report to work Monday. Whoever works for agencies and departments that are considered nonessential, including agencies that pay out small business loans and process passport requests, will cease to work effective immediately until Congress is able to agree on a bill for the federal budget.

The employees in these departments would be placed on "furlough." In previous shutdowns, everyone who stayed home was paid retroactively after an agreement was reached in Washington.
At the peak of the 2013 government shutdown, about 850,000 employees were furloughed per day, according to the Office of Management and Budget.

White House
The White House said Friday that 1,056 members of the Executive Office of the President would be furloughed, and 659, considered essential, would continue to report to work.
Furloughed staff will still be expected to report to duty on Monday, the White House said in a contingency plan posted to its website Friday. But they can stay for no longer than four hours to engage in "shutdown activities" like setting out-of-office messages or explaining how to carry out functions to colleagues who are not furloughed.

Military
The military is considered essential and will still report for duty. However, the troops -- including those in combat -- will potentially not be paid during a shutdown.
If the shutdown goes on for weeks, about 1.3 million active-duty military will be expected to work potentially without pay. The military is currently paid through February 1.
In addition, many civilian Department of Defense employees will not be working during the shutdown, including instructors at military academies and maintenance contractors.

Special counsel
Special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation team will continue to operate, a Justice Department spokesperson told CNN.
"All employees with the Special Counsel's Office are considered exempt and would continue their operations in the case of a lapse in appropriations," the spokesperson said.

National parks and gun permits
If you had plans for a vacation to visit any national parks, zoos or museums, some of those may be closed.
The popular panda cameras at the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington will be turned off, according to a statement from the Smithsonian Institution. Visitors will still be able to visit the National Zoo, as well as Smithsonian museums, over the weekend. On Saturday afternoon, the Smithsonian tweeted that its museums, research centers and the National Zoo would be open on Monday and would provide updates as to the future as soon as they knew.

The shutdown will also affect the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, meaning if you wanted a gun permit, you'll have to wait until the shutdown is over.

TSA, air traffic control and mail services
Essential services, such as Social Security, air traffic control and the Transportation Security Administration, will continue to be funded even if some employees of those agencies are not.
The US Postal Service won't stop serving residents -- you'll still get your mail.

DC city services
In 2013, the shutdown especially affected residents of Washington. But this time around, Mayor Muriel Bowser vowed that services in the city will continue, unlike last time.
"Washington, DC, is open," Bowser said in a statement published Friday. "DC government will continue to provide services to our residents, the services they expect and deserve, uninterrupted."

National Mall
Bowser also said the city plans to help the federal government maintain the National Mall.
"I've called on my agencies, where we are able, to step in for the federal government," she said during the news conference. "The National Mall is operated by the National Park Service, and there are many other National Service Park properties throughout Washington, DC ... we will step in and ensure litter and trash are picked up along the National Mall to keep nation's front yard clean of debris."

Abbas to meet Putin in February to discuss Trump's Jerusalem moves

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Russia in the first half of February to discuss US President Donald Trump’s changes to American policy on Jerusalem, a Palestinian diplomat said on Thursday.

Abbas, a graduate of a university in Russia, last visited Putin in Moscow in May.

US President Donald Trump recognises Jerusalem as Israel's capital and announces embassy to relocate

“[Abbas] will discuss with him the situation in the Middle East including Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital,” the PLO Ambassador to Moscow Adbel Hafiz Nofal told Sputnik, a Russian-government owned website.

In a speech at the White House in early December, Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and initiated the relocation of the US Embassy in Tel Aviv to the holy city, breaking with decades of American policy.

Russia has publicly opposed Trump’s decisions on Jerusalem.

In the past couple of weeks, Russia voted in favor of United Nations Security Council and General Assembly resolutions criticizing Trump’s decisions on Jerusalem.

In a phone call, Fatah Central Committee member Azzam al-Ahmad said that Abbas will ask Putin “to undertake a greater and more meaningful role in the peace process in order to save it.”

Palestinian officials have said they would like to establish a multilateral framework for the peace process that includes Russia.

Israel has long opposed initiatives to grant countries other than the US a prominent role in the peace process.

According to Abbas, Trump’s decisions on Jerusalem have disqualified the US from sponsoring the peace process between the Palestinians and Israel.

Putin, Abbas to hold talks in Moscow on February 12

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Palestinian Leader Mahmoud Abbas will hold talks in Moscow on February 12, an official at the Embassy of Palestine in Moscow told Tass on Thursday.

"Yes, the meeting will be held on February 12," the official said.

The Kremlin press service did not confirm the possibility of such a meeting.

The US government is going through a shut down like they did with Obama back in 2013. This time, the stakes of politics have never been higher and this could possibly go on for a while. If it does manage to last after February 12, Russia and friends could finally have their opportunity. Israel will be a sitting duck because the US won't be able to get their own military to act unless they're that patriotic.

Looks like this may be the perfect opportunity. Let's wait and see what happens because things are really getting interesting again.

Abbas wins EU backing for Palestinian capital in east Jerusalem

http://www.jpost.com/Arab-Israeli-C...-Palestinian-capital-in-East-Jerusalem-539462

BRUSSELS - The European Union assured President Mahmoud Abbas it supported his ambition to have east Jerusalem as capital of a Palestinian state, in the bloc's latest rejection of US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

At a meeting in Brussels with EU foreign ministers, Abbas repeated his call for east Jerusalem as capital as he urged EU governments to recognize a state of Palestine immediately, arguing that this would not disrupt negotiations with Israel on a peace settlement for the region.

While Abbas made no reference to Trump's move on Jerusalem or US Vice President Mike Pence's visit to the city on Monday, his presence at the EU headquarters in Brussels was seized on by European officials as a chance to restate opposition to Trump's Dec. 6 decision to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem.

Mogherini, in what appeared to be a veiled reference to Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel, called on those involved in the process to speak and act "wisely", with a sense of responsibility.

"I want to reassure President Abbas of the firm commitment of the European Union to the two-state solution with Jerusalem as the shared capital of the two states", Mogherini said.

Before Abbas' arrival, she was more outspoken, saying: "Clearly there is a problem with Jerusalem. That is a very diplomatic euphemism", in reference to Trump's position.

Deputy German Foreign Minister Michael Roth told reporters that Trump's decision had made peace talks harder but said all sides needed to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Abbas also struck a more diplomatic tone than in his recent public remarks, including earlier this month when he said he would only accept a broad, internationally-backed panel to broker any peace talks with Israel.

"We are keen on continuing the way of negotiations", Abbas said. "We are determined to reunite our people and our land".

But his call for the European Union to immediately and officially recognize a state of Palestine was unlikely to be answered, two senior EU diplomats said.

SLOVENIAN DECISION?

While nine EU governments including Sweden and Poland already recognize Palestine, the 28-nation bloc says such recognition must come as part of a peace settlement.

Only Slovenia has recently raised the possibility of recognizing the state of Palestine. A parliamentary committee there is due to consider the issue on Jan. 31, but it remains unclear when the parliament could recognize Palestine.

That reflects the European Union's dual role as the Palestinians' biggest aid donor and Israel's biggest trade partner, even if EU governments reject Israeli settlements on land Israel has occupied since a 1967 war - including the West Bank, east Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.

The European Union also wants the Palestinians to remain open to a US-led peace plan, expected to be presented soon by Jason Greenblatt, Trump's Middle East envoy and Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner.

Abbas said there was "no contradiction between recognition (of Palestine) and the resumption of (peace) negotiations".

Instead, France wants to push the European Union to offer closer trade ties through a so-called EU association agreement, an EU treaty covering unfettered access to the bloc's 500 million consumers, aid and closer political and cultural ties.

"We want to say to Mahmoud Abbas that we want to move ... towards an association agreement and to start the process already", said France's Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian.

But offering an EU association agreement to the Palestinians was also fraught with difficulties, diplomats said.

Under EU rules, the agreements need to be agreed with sovereign states. France argues that the EU has an association agreement with Kosovo, whose independence is not recognized by all countries, including EU member Spain.

EU ready to take ‘central role’ in peace process alongside US

https://www.timesofisrael.com/eu-ready-to-take-central-role-in-peace-process-alongside-us/

European Union Foreign Policy chief Federica Mogherini is ready to take a “central role,” alongside the United States, expanding the international role in mediating between Israel and the Palestinians, she said on Monday, in Brussels.

The comments come after the Palestinians have refused the US its role as the main broker in peace talks, following US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Speaking after a meeting between Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and EU foreign ministers in Brussels, Mogherini said the Palestinian leader agreed to the proposed dynamic.

“We affirmed our conviction that the framework has to be multilateral. We will continue working within the Quartet, which includes the US, Russia and the UN, enlarging this to a few Arab countries, and possibly Norway,” she told reporters.

“The Palestinian president was perfectly fine with this idea of not having the United States as the only interlocutor for the peace process, but of having a multilateral framework in which the European Union has a central role that is together with others, including our partners in the Quartet, including the United States,” she added.

“We will follow up in the coming weeks,” she said.

Following the US decision in December to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the Palestinian leadership declared that Washington could no longer fulfill the historic and central role in the peace process it has held for over two decades.

Instead, Abbas is now seeking some kind of international framework through which the Palestinians can win an independent state. The main players in that arena, from his point of view, are the EU, the UN, Russia and China.

Mogherini said it has long been believed in Europe that peace negotiations between Palestinians and Israelis could only work with the combined forces of the EU and the US, and neither side could succeed alone.

“There is a space for a common effort,” she said of working with the Americans. “This could be done in the coming months…if we join forces,” she said.

One of the key purposes of Abbas’s trip to Brussels was to ask for increased financial aid from the EU, in the face of threats by the United States, the largest single donor to the Palestinians, to end its aid to Ramallah.

Mogherini, in remarks alongside Abbas earlier in the day, reassured the Palestinian leader of the EU’s “continual support, including financial.”

In response to a question from a reporter over whether Brussels would be willing to increase the financial aid to the Palestinians as US aid to the Palestinians decreases, she said, “We have already increased our support in recent times and we’re looking into ways in which we can do more.”

She added that the EU expects the US to fulfill its financial commitments to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

The US froze payments worth $100 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees earlier this month. Since then, Sweden and Belgium together donated $81.5 million.

The State Department denied that the freeze was to punish the Palestinian Authority for cutting ties with US President Donald Trump’s administration, following his recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, with a spokeswoman saying it was linked to necessary “reform” of UNRWA.

Association agreement with the Palestinians
EU Foreign Policy chief Federica Mogherini confirmed in her remarks to journalists in Brussels on Monday that EU member states are discussing the idea of raising relations with the Palestinians through an “association agreement.”

“There has been a discussion among member states in recent days and weeks on the possibility of launching negotiations for an association agreement,” she said, adding that the issue was not discussed with Abbas on Monday.

Abbas, in his remarks on Monday, asked EU states to “swiftly” recognize the state of Palestine, arguing it would help Palestinians hold out their hopes for peace.

In an interview with AFP on Sunday in Brussels, PA Foreign Minister Riad al-Malki said the EU recognizing the state of Palestine would be “a way to respond” to Trump’s declaration of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital.

Malki added that while the Palestinian Authority was “very serious” about an association agreement, they also expected to be formally recognized as a state.

But diplomats and officials in Brussels said Monday that recognition for Palestine is not on the cards — the EU leaves recognition in the hands of individual members — and the best Abbas can hope for is progress toward an “association agreement” with the bloc.

Some countries, notably France, are understood to be keen to give Abbas something concrete to take away, but others are more cautious.

Spanish Foreign Minister Alfonso Dastis said he was open to starting discussions on a possible agreement, but warned that Abbas must tone down his rhetoric, following his outburst against the United States.

“I think what we must ask him to do is to moderate his response to decisions that we have ourselves criticized,” Dastis told reporters as he arrived for the meeting.

Abbas’s visit to Brussels also comes just one week before a committee of key groups who donate to the Palestinians are to convene in the EU capital for an emergency session. The 15-member group, called the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee, includes the US and the EU.

Looks like Jared Kushner and Donald Trump may not be the brokers of Middle East peace after all. The Antichrist, according to many Bible scholars, needs to come from a revived Roman Empire based in Europe and now the European Union is getting more and more involved in the peace process. Abbas is having a complete utter meltdown over Trump's Jerusalem decision the last little while and refuses to negotiate with Trump any further. I guess now it's up to the EU to accomplish what the US has failed to do despite all the groundbreaking progress they made.

Israel Natural Gas Lines could help build European pipeline

Israel Natural Gas Lines could help build European pipeline

Tribune News Service) - "The possibility of having the Israel Natural Gas Lines Company take part in building a pipeline for exporting gas to Europe is being considered," Minister of National Infrastructure, Energy, and Water Resources Yuval Steinitz told the company's management and board of directors, headed by chairperson Eitan Padan. "The project of exporting gas from Leviathan to Europe is making progress, and the possibility of including Israel Natural Gas Lines in the work of building the undersea export pipeline is under consideration. The company has a significant role in continuing to promote connection of the economy to natural gas, and it is good that there are efficient, lean, and successful government companies like Israel Natural Gas Lines." Steinitz was speaking at the presentation of Israel Natural Gas Lines' multi-year strategic development plan. The involvement of a government project in this giant project increases the chances that it will materialize.

The plan pipeline for transporting gas from Israel to Italy via Cyprus and Greece will be 2,100 kilometers long, making it the world's longest undersea pipeline. The cost of construction, slated for completion in 2025, is estimated at NIS 25 billion. Six weeks ago, the energy ministers of Cyprus, Greece, Israel, and Italy signed a memorandum of understanding for construction of a gas pipeline from Israel to Italy.

This ambitious project, however, is far from being realized. The engineering difficulty in this difficult infrastructure project lies in its undersea route, which reaches a depth of 3.3 kilometers, and in volcanic sea bottom between Cyprus and Greece. This feature is liable to cause damage to the pipeline that will be very difficult to repair. Another difficulty of no less importance is the project's economic viability. The average natural gas price in Europe over the past year was around $5.40 per BTU, while the average price in Israel is not much cheaper -- $5.30.

In order to justify the considerable cost of laying a pipeline, a difference of $2-3 per BTU is needed. This is probably possible at the current market prices. The prices in the recent gas deals signed with Energean, owner of the Karish and Tanin gas reservoirs in Israel, were lower than $4 per BTU, compared with the prices that Europe is paying Russian gas company Gazprom, which are in the $6-7 per BTU price range. Even after the pipeline is laid, Israel will not replace Gazprom, which is supplying an estimated 200 BCM of gas a year, but it will make Israel a significant supplier of gas in the region. The pipeline will be able to transport 5-10 BCN of gas a year.

Israel Natural Gas Lines has invested over NIS 6 billion to date in building and developing the gas transportation system, and is scheduled to invest over NIS 2 billion in developing the transportation system in the coming years, even before the investment in the international pipeline. The company plans to hold its fourth financing round soon.

Israel Natural Gas Lines, which is fully government-owned, was founded in 2003. Upon its founding, the government granted the company a 30-year license to build and operate the natural gas transportation system in Israel. Under the terms of its license, Israel Natural Gas Lines transports natural gas to consumers seeking to consume high-pressure gas, including Israel Electric Corporation power stations and private power stations.

Two major U.S. surveys rank Israel among most powerful, innovative countries

Two major US surveys rank Israel among most powerful, innovative countries

NEW YORK - Two major US publications have listed Israel within their top ten rankings, citing the country’s military prowess and innovation capabilities, respectively.

Web-based publication US News and World Report, best known for its influential ranking lists, named Israel as the 8th most powerful nation in the world. Meanwhile, Bloomberg News listed the Jewish state as the 10th most innovative, hailing its high-tech industry and technological advances.

Partnered with global marketing communications company BAV Group and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, US News surveyed more than 21,000 people from four regions of the world and asked them to associate 80 countries with specific attributes.

The power aspect of the survey measured how “economically” and “politically influential” a country was and took into account both its “strong international alliances and strong military alliances.”

“Israel has a technologically advanced market economy with cut diamonds, high-technology equipment and pharmaceuticals among its major exports,” US News also noted in its report, adding, however, that the county still “has one of the most unequal economies in the Western world, with significant gaps between the rich and poor.”

Rounding out the top 10 after Israel were two Arab rivals: Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The online news organization ranked Israel 30th overall in terms of “Best Countries” out of a list of 80. The United States, like last year, was placed at number 1 while Slovenia ranked dead last at number 80.

Bloomberg News ranked Israel number 10 on its list of most innovative countries, using an index that annually ranks economies by analyzing seven contributing factors such as research and development, spending and the concentration of public hi-tech companies.

“The 2018 ranking process began with more than 200 economies,” Bloomberg stated in its report published Tuesday.

“Each was scored on a 0-100 scale based on seven equally weighted categories. Nations that didn’t report data for at least six categories were eliminated, trimming the list to 80. Bloomberg released the top 50 and category scores within this cohort.”

South Korea topped the list for the third year in a row, followed by Sweden, Singapore, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Finland, Denmark and France.

The US fell to 11th place from ninth mainly because of an eight-spot slump in the post-secondary, or tertiary, education-efficiency category, which includes the share of new science and engineering graduates in the labor force, Bloomberg said.

Like last year, Israel achieved first place in the “researcher concentration category,” or the number of professionals – including postgraduate PhD students – engaged in R&D per million people in the country. The country was ranked second and trailed only South Korea in the “R&D intensity” category, or R&D expenditure as a percentage of gross domestic product (GDP).

Israel also did well in “hi-tech density” – the number of domestically domiciled hi-tech public companies – placing fifth, just after the South Korea and Germany.

Sounds like Russia is going to need to act fast before Israel gets too powerful. Abbas is going to meet with Putin in February (possibly the 12th) so I think it's possible for Gog to get an evil thought from this and get turned around with hooks in his jaws.

"The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal; prophesy against him and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.

“ ‘Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety. 9You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land.

“ ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. You will say, “I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land.” Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages will say to you, “Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?” ’"

Trump was born on this middle moon in 1946, of this preceding lunar triple, prior to the tetrad.

But check this one out. I lifted this picture off of a video. There's almost too many weird specifications for this to be random. Four seven magnitude earthquakes that are 177 days apart. Like a mirror image of the tetrads.

Speed the video up to the 51:30 mark to check out "a tetrad of earthquakes"..

Why does he have to make a prediction for sharing videos?
What he said in post #1135 - seem- to imply that something is going to happen during or after the last triple ....
