This part maybe is not true. I think time will eventually come to aide of Ukraine in the war, and I think time will come to the aide of Ukraine spiritually as well. Out of terrible suffering often comes spiritual revival, and I think that is what will happen in your country as well.

Let me see if I can find some of the other prophecies that suggested this, and I can post them tomorrow maybe.

You don't have to be a prophet to do that. It seems that after 1991, Russia followed the path followed by Germany after 1918. It was not necessary to humiliate Germany in 1918, and Russia in 1991. But now it's too late. The war began. Now Russia must be stopped.. Time against Europe.

There is hope that the West still values human lives. I hope that they will still stand up for the Ukrainians. If 100 or 200 thousand wild animals were killed in 4 months? All human rights activists would have risen to the defense. And how 100 or 200 thousand Ukrainians were killed and it continues? Everyone is used to it ...

There is nothing more valuable to God than the human soul. And in today's world, people feel more sorry for wild animals than humans. People abandoned theocentrism under the slogans of humanism. Have we come to the result that human lives are worthless?

Well, like I said, I'm not sure the West are necessarily the good guys in this conflict. I think they are using the situation. But there IS true hope in the Lord Jesus Christ, and I believe there will be a resurgence of Christianity and faith in Him among the Slavic nations in the aftermath of this war.

Understand, our current government isn't helping us very much either. They are deliberately destroying our economy with their politics. But there is hope in Jesus Christ; TRUE hope.

I do not see any preconditions for the revival of Christianity. Neither in Ukraine nor in Russia. Before the war I talked to the Russians. There are a minority of Christians in both Ukraine and Russia. We are a religious minority. The war only hinders the preaching of Christianity. War hinders missionary work.

Yes, but the suffering the war brings will cause more and more to reach out to God for help, in both countries. It will be the same thing here.

Yeah and lot of things he got completely wrong. Islam trying to assassinate Obama, Dirty bomb wiping out some coastal city, People trying to grow food in cities by digging the roads up and then general economic difficulties, corruption, diseases abroad and home.

You can't just pick and choose from some hour long speech the things that actually somewhat happened and call someone a prophet and then just completely disregard all those things that were "prophesied" and never happened.

I wouldn't presume to know what Islam was planning to do during the Obama Administration, but he clearly stated there was a plan for it to happen, not that it definitely would, and to pray it didn't. Students of prophecy know that the prayers of the saints alter things, which is why he was quoting the passage in Jeremiah to that effect. But the rest of the things on your list are still on the horizon. You don't think we're heading for food shortages? You don't think we're heading for economic difficulties now? :)

Stay tuned. We are already seeing shopping malls mostly closed down in many cities just as he prophesied, and things haven't even gotten started yet.
Understand, there are people who get all hopped up and paranoid the minute you start talking about prophecy, and they focus on the man rather than the words he spoke. It's why you'll usually start to see a lot of character assassination going on (usually by association) when such discussions start.

Don't make the mistake of focusing on the man, but rather on the warnings he gave of what was coming.

Sure, but then we could just go through various think tanks that have concerns about future and we would be set.

Or just ask man on the street and I can predict there will be more pandemics, problem with supply chains, bad weather, wars, internal dissent in Russia, US and China, "signs in heavens", sunspot activity messing with electronics (which he actually mentioned), problems in Africa, etc.

Kind of hope if you get prophecies they would be rather more specific like that dirty bomb in coastal city in decade (the talk was 2007) Didn't happen so that kind of downgrades his prophecies to wild guesses.

Yeah, but the man on the street has a tendency to say all kinds of stuff, much of which can be whacked out. With most, it's more of a feeling than anything else, combined with bits of information and speculation they've heard being circulated around elsewhere.

To me there are a bunch of specifics mentioned, including what I was sharing with Valeriy about with Hosni Mubarak, and with the shopping malls being empty, and a number of other things. There are other threads I've posted at other forums about different things that now appear to be well on their way to fulfillment - specific stuff - so maybe I can post those here as well and you can take a look. Just busy lately, so taking things one day at a time.

But I do understand your concern. There are a lot of people out there right now who are "prophesying" and unfortunately the junk they are saying bears no signs of authority whatsoever.

    God bless,
    - H

I get that wibe from all of these "prophets". If you can link me someone who has actually made accurate, non general, non trivial, prophecies while simultaneously not making a bunch of failed predictions do link them up. That would be a sign of authority.

The secret services of different countries have analytical centers that produce prophecies. These prophecies then influence public opinion in the right direction. If the prophecy is not taken from the Bible, then there is the question: who benefits from this?

Sounds like you are referencing something like Project Blue Beam.

But here is the problem with receiving only those prophecies contained in the Bible at the exclusion of everything else: It eliminates God's ability to speak prophetically to the body of Christ in the end-times. But scripture is clear that this will not be the case. The Lord prophesied through Joel stating,

28 “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams. Your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants. I will pour out My Spirit in those days. 30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. 32 And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said, among the remnant whom the Lord calls.

This means that prophecy - not the prophecies contained in the Bible but end-time prophecies that will be spoken by the body of Christ - will go forth abundantly in the times before His return. So we woundn't want to limit Him by saying that any prophecy not recorded in the Bible is from the Devil or from the world. This would be to essentially have more faith in the power of Satan than in the power and promises of God.

Apparently, I did not express myself correctly. The most important prophecies in the Bible. Globally.

There may be smaller prophecies. For example, the Rev. Seraphim of Sarov told a priest that when you raise money to rebuild a church, you will be asked to move to another place. To disagree. This happened after the death of St. Seraphim. The village church burned down and he collected donations in the city for reconstruction. He was invited to stay in the city.

At the same time, the priest Daniil Sysoyev (he was killed by a Muslim terrorist in 2009) said that many prophecies were fabricated. In the 1990s, prophecies were invented that allegedly belonged to Seraphim of Sarov. But they contradict the Bible. For example, prophecies about the special role of Russia, about the Russian tsar, about the antichrist and others.

I agree that hope is only in God.

Now I answer why (in my opinion) the war will not affect the number of Christians.

There are memories that during World War II the temples were overcrowded. But we must not forget that during the 1937 census (during the most brutal persecution of Christians), 1/3 of the people in the cities and 2/3 of the people in the villages called themselves Christians. They were not afraid of repression. Most temples were closed. During the war, both Hitler and Stalin began to open temples to please the people. And these people filled the temples then.

Now other statistics. In Russia and Ukraine, at least 80% are non-believers. In other post-Christian countries it is about the same. It can even be baptized people. But in worldview, they are neo-pagans, occultists, psychics, magicians and superstitious people. They do not go to temples en masse, even when they or their loved ones are in mortal threat.

If you can, what did these prophecies say and what Bible prophecies do you believe they contradict?
I think that is why there will likely be a revival, however. Suffering, hardships and loss have a way of causing people to lose hope in the things of this world and start turning their eyes to Heaven. Plus, there is no estimating how bad the financial toll will be on your country. By the time the war is over, much of it may have been reduced to rubble, and there will be a time of great poverty and great need. It is in times of great need that people begin turning to God, and I think that will happen here in this country as well. We may not have a war, but our economy will suffer terribly as well soon, and with it will come social upheaval on a scale the United States has never seen before. But it will awaken many to start putting their faith in God more once again, for there are many Christians here who don't have a Christian worldview right now either. But that will likely begin changing when they see the world going to Hell in a handbag just as scripture predicted it would.

I do not remember, because I have long lost interest in such prophecies. One of them is that Orthodox Christianity will be revived in Russia and there will be an Orthodox tsar. And when the antichrist comes, he will take possession of all the land except Russia. He will be afraid of the Russian tsar. This directly contradicts the Revelation of John the Theologian.

I am also skeptical of the prophecy attributed to the Reverend Paisius of Mount Athos. That Russia will take away Constantinople from Turkey by military means and give it to Greece.

There were many, but I forgot about them.

I do not see any logic. No relationship between war, famine and the growth of true faith. Superstitions are growing. And the preaching of true faith needs silence. War, famine, death, injury - this is an exam. But before taking the exams, you must: 1) go to university; 2) undergo training.

Ukrainian soldiers are also people. They also have families. The photo shows the daughter of a Ukrainian soldier at his grave.
