You haven't heard that the three Abrahamic religions are Judaism, Christianity and Islam, as all share some common historical beliefs regarding the Biblical Old Testament? I thought everyone had heard about that.

I've heard of serpent seed theory, but am not sure which sub-groups believe it. Ironically the Adam and Eve video over the the Queen of Heaven thread is the Alchemist interpretation, and seems to lay the ground work for the theory.

Maybe you just feel underwhelmed, but I find it personally find it fascinating, especially the use of symbolism and the connections between the sets of ideas. Not to mention the history that's usually ignored or lied about to make certain groups feel better about themselves. It's unusual to see anyone really trace different populations over the ages to different areas, as history is often taught as if a group of people have always lived where they are now.

I'll also throw in heraldry here. Lots of it involves mythical creatures that are actually symbolic statements about a family bloodline and it's character. Unicorns, gryphons, random sea creatures, they're all symbolic. Symbolic animals are the origin of a lot of the mythical creatures from history.
