Dr Alan Cairns has died (1940-2020)

"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and brother in Christ, Dr. Alan Cairns. As many of you know, Dr. Cairns was admitted to hospital on Thursday 15th October and diagnosed with pneumonia. He was later tested for cv-19 and confirmed positive. He was transferred into ICU the following Tuesday and placed on a ventilator for 12 days. Despite the best efforts of the medical staff, his condition deteriorated over the last week with empyema and fevers, and he died this morning."
