DPRK Threatens South Korea

SEOUL, South Korea—North Korea threatened Sunday to retaliate against South Korea for taking it to the United Nations Security Council over the deadly sinking of a warship, calling the action an "intolerable provocation."

Well, I suppose "retaliate" is milder than their previous threat of war if action was taken against them.

Clearly there ain't too much concern over there.

Hard to make that kind of deduction based on just one person's FB.

I read a BBC article about it though... it was fairly half and half.

I'd personally not be worrying too much... North Korea would gain nothing by starting a war, and I seriously doubt China will step in for them this time if they do pick a fight.

Okay. Well, I'll be more specific. During my time in Korea, interacting with Koreans, and currently contacting other expatriot friends and Korean friends, nobody is ever worried about north korea.

I understand, though there are a lot worrying... and mostly about the real problem - how the North's saber rattling affects the stock market there.

There's certainly more to fear from that than the North actually invading.
