7. The FBI's investigation of these allegations nevertheless concluded that there was insufficient evidence to support the allegations of a secret communications channel with Russian Bank-1. In particular, and among other things, the FBI's investigation revealed that the email server at issue was not owned or operated by the Trump Organization but, rather, had been administered by a mass marketing email company that sent advertisements for Trump hotels and hundreds of other clients.

As part of its efforts to assist the Clinton Campaign and the DNC, Law Firm-I retained a particular investigative Firm (the "U.S. Investigative Firm") to gather information regarding Trump's purported ties to Russia. Throughout the Presidential campaign, the U.S. Investigative Firm worked with Law Firm-1, members of the media, and others to gather and disseminate purported evidence of Trump's ties to Russia.

Over the ensumg weeks, and as part of their lawyer-client relationship, SUSSMANN and Tech Executive-I engaged in efforts with Campaign Lawyer-I and individuals acting on behalf of the Clinton Campaign to share information about the Russian Bank Data with the media and others, claiming that it demonstrated the existence of a secret communications channel between the Trump Organization and Russian Bank-1.
What is strange is it took the FBI - along with out agencies this long to figure things out. No doubt people/companies named things like Law Firm-1, etc will be revealed in time.
Sad thing is this can happen to anyone if the government wants it too. They just drag it out until the funds are gone, and the reputation is ruined...then called it justice served.
