  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

He forgave Moses, King David and the apostle Paul. He used each one of those men to write books of the bible. They were guilty of murder. His grace and mercy for exceed our comprehension.

Raven what is making you believe that people who commit those sins can't be forgiven? Jesus tells us that ALL our sins are forgiven even the ones that us humans see as more horrific than others. We have to remember that God doesn't look at sins the same way we do. I struggled with the same thing thinking that God doesn't forgive certain sins, but even while I was believing that lie God was still trying to show me that He does forgive ALL sins.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Well God has given us His word. I go by Gods word. We are prone to sin ect. There is nothing about us worthy of any trust. God is the truth itself John 14:6. There are examples of murderers being forgiven in the bible,as I mentioned above. I mean the bible is Gods word so its God who says so.No matter what you hear ANYONE (preacher or not)say about spiritual things, make sure its what God says. I rely firmly on Gods word. I don't know why a chaplain would say that they don't know. From one end to the other end of Gods word there is this theme of our sin and His forgiveness.

Yeah but maybe certain circumstances are involved like if you were going to kill someone and didn't care but see the fault in that now can you be forgiven?

All sin is equally bad in Gods sight. We differentiate between sins, but in Gods eyes, all sin is an abomination. It only takes one sin to send you to hell, be it murder or lying or adultery. Jesus died for *all* sin and His blood covers all of our sins.

In the final equation, you and I are not any better than rapists, pedophiles and murderers in the sense that none of us deserve to go to Heaven. We are not good enough to make it because we all have this in common: we are all sinners. Because we are sinners we all deserve to go to hell. It is only because of what Jesus did on the cross that we can go to Heaven. Our entry to Heaven is based only on the righteousness of Jesus Christ and not our own. The scripture says our righteousness is like filthy rags before a holy God.

Because of the blood of Jesus, when God looks at me He sees me holy and blameless in His sight. Not because of what I did, but because of what Jesus did. That is the *only* reason either of us are going to Heaven. If a murderer or a raptist or a pedophile confesses Jesus Christ and repents of their sin, they will be joining us. You may be surprised to find out that you will see Jeffrey Dahmer in Heaven:

You don't want to believe it. Instead of receiving the word of God as truth, you are leaning on your own understanding. It's true because Gods word says it is true. It's your choice to accept or reject the revelation that God has given you through His word. Rejecting it means you are willfully deceiving yourself and you are giving place for the devil to work in your life. Ask God to help you understand and believe what His word says.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

Can you Love Raven? I see the Worlds/Devils got a hold on you to shut your mind down to non belief. This means foundation shaking is required to change ones belief. That can not be found here because feel, touch and experience can not be held in this format. In non belief Romans 12:2 can not be fulfilled in you. God is love, 1john 4:16.
You coming into the Word Scared is O.K. What is not OK is you leaving the Word scared. Look upon 1 Corinthians 13:3-7 Raven. Especially verse 3. Apply that verse in all that "YOU" do in every aspect and watch the transformation in your life ---> Rom 12:3. Love those that do not deserve it, Love those that bring you pain, in the HOPE that their souls can be saved too...This where you get beatdown with scripture but I see you leave scripture more scared than when you started. So, learn to love, and your heart will be opened to BELIEF. Pray for love, Raven, to loose that bottled up hate that causes your fear. A prayer has been said for you . In His will. A-men...

Raven as bad as Jeffrey sounds. I do believe that he gave his life to the Lord........That didn't change the things he did while on earth but it changed the way God looked at him.....Now I see you on the OCD forums a lot and like I have told you before.......Who ever is telling you that God cannot forgive sins is a liar....I'm not going to say your willingly saying you don't believe since I suffer from OCD a disorder of doubts too. It is hard to stomach but God truly can forgive all sins......Even I have a sense of doubt on that but choose to try my hardest to believe God's word and not my own understanding.
