Now, by declaring that he would no longer work with Congress on infrastructure – or on anything else of substance – the president has dramatically escalated this struggle. In his determination to pressure his antagonists to relent, he suddenly seems ready to renounce the governing obligations of his own office.

Donald needs to understand that he's not the first president to be investigated -- if he don't know how to multitask, what business does he have in the office?

Thoughts?

Good. The less work he does the better off we'll all be.

Between him not accepting a salary and refusing to govern, it'll be like he was never president.

Let's not forget his continual retreats -- first to Trump Tower, then to Mar-A-Lago...

Which sounds like a better title for Donald: The "part-time" President, or The "absentee" President?

Didn't some member think "Pres*ent" was a tremendously clever appellation for President Obama? In the case of Trump, he's not even present.

I think there are a lot of things he needs to understand which he clearly does not understand.

That he is not the first president to be investigated is just one of them.

It never stopped him from working in the private sector. He’s always been under investigation for tax evasion, being sued and/or filing for bankruptcy.

Yeah, but now he’s in the only position where he cannot be touched by the Law (i.e. as long as he holds the Presidency). If he should seek to “actively inhibit” investigations, then he could have opened himself to an impeachment charge of obstruction of justice.

How about "the president who stacked the courts in his parties favour for the next few decades"?
