Probably because the Democrats don’t believe this either.
This is what happens every time the Republicans announce  "THIS TIME WE ARE FOR SURE GOING TO GET THE CLINTONS FOR ALL THOSE CRIMES WE BELIEVE THEY DID!!" (tm) ...and then their investigations always seem to end up: "...uhmmm...there's no evidence of any wrong doing". And all, mind you, with out ever apologizing for the false accusations they made against them.

And they don’t want her getting into the race.
Well...to be fair, President Trump seems to have been running against her for his entire term in office, so really she's been "running" without ever having to spend any money on a campaign. :D

tulc(wonders why there wasn't a big announcement about this by the administration?)

Did anyone really believe this would amount to anything? The Republicans spent tens of millions of our tax dollars, trying to find something, anything Hillary Clinton did that was a crime, and they came up with nothing.

Anything to distract from all the underlings in the Trump organization/administration who ended up convicted criminals.

Jailbirds of a feather.

You can be sure that after a brief pause some other moron will start pushing for another investigation into the same things.

I suspect that some people know these are fakes, but use them as talking points, not really expecting anything to come of them.

Cuz the Democrats totally didn't cost the US tens of millions in the Russia probe & impeachment shams.

Donald Trump and the Republicans have been trying to smear the Clintons by any means possible for many years. I suspect that the Republicans who actually think about things know this and dismiss these accusations for what they are.

Not sure too many Republican EVER SAID such a thing especially Trump supporters. Most I think have given up in despair that justice will ever be done. It's just baked in the cake.....if you're a Clinton you get a free pass.

As for me I'm still not convinced that she won't be appointed the Dem leader in a brokered convention. We'll see.

...were those investigations about President and Sec Clinton? Because if they weren't I'm not sure why someone would bring them up in a thread not about them. If you'd like to discuss those subjects perhaps you should start a thread about them where they could be discussed there?

I think pointing out apparent hypocrisy is relevant in any thread in which it apparently appears.

Actually, a threads point is to discuss what's in the OP, so if you'd like to discuss hypocrisy you should start a thread about that. If you have no interest in the subject contained in the OP there's nothing stopping you from just starting a different thread about something that does interest you.
tulc(isn't sure why that would be a problem)

Given the fact that numerous Trump people where convicted or pleaded guilty to felonies, your assumption is faulty. And the investigation actually came close to breaking even, given the number and amount of fines collected from various criminals who worked for Trump.

Yes, the Mueller investigation is costly. But the millions seized from Manafort have it on track to break even
Mueller probe: Costly investigation could break even after condo fight

On the other hand, the foolish attempt to nail Hillary Clinton for any sort of crime cost tens of millions of dollars with neither convictions nor fines to justify the huge expense.

A cynic might say that the House republicans lack convictions, but that's not really true...

  • Mark D. Siljander (R-MI) was convicted of obstruction of justice (2012)
  • Rick Renzi (R-AZ) was found guilty on 17 of 32 counts against him June 12, 2013, including wire fraud, conspiracy, extortion, racketeering, money laundering and making false statements to insurance regulators (2013)
  • Trey Radel (R-FL) was convicted of possession of cocaine in November 2013. As a first-time offender, he was sentenced to one year probation and fined $250. Radel announced he would take a leave of absence, but did not resign. Later, under pressure from a number of Republican leaders, he announced through a spokesperson that he would resign (2013)
  • Michael Grimm (R-NY) pleaded guilty of felony tax evasion. This was the fourth count in a 20-count indictment brought against him for improper use of campaign funds. The guilty plea had a maximum sentence of three years;
  • Dennis Hastert (R-IL) Speaker of the United States House of Representatives pleaded guilty in court for illegally structuring bank transactions related to payment of $3.5 million to quash allegations of sexual misconduct with a student when he was a high school teacher and coach decades ago.[160] (2016)
  • Steve Stockman (R-TX) was convicted of fraud (2018)
  • Robin Hayes (R-NC) was convicted of lying to the FBI (2019)
  • Chris Collins (R-NY) pleaded guilty to insider trading (2019)
  • Duncan D. Hunter (R-CA) pleaded guilty to misuse of campaign funds

It's sad that Republicans don't believe their own investigations. I guess they know that Republicans can't be trusted.

I wouldn't want to bring the hammer down on the Clintons either. Epstein didn't kill himself, ya know
There's far more evidence that he killed himself than the Clintons had anything to do with it.

He led the Emailgate, involved in Crossfire Hurricane and was on Mueller's team. Tidy deal there.
Strzok supported reopening the investigation into the emails when new ones were found just before the election. Not very tidy for Clinton which probably cost her the election.
