Sessions insists that Cuomy was fired because he reported that Hillary was being investigated again.

Of course, Hillary continues to state that the #1 action contributing to her loss was Cuomy's action. Obviously, Hillary did so many things that contributed to her loss. HOWEVER, had this action not happened, the vote might have been a bit different.

Hillary would have had to fire Comey too, so he didn't have a ghost of a chance either way.

Trump's win was by a relatively wide margin -- recall that Clinton did not campaign in some blue states that Trump later turned red.
As to Comey's interference, it seemed awkward at best and maybe uncalled for. I don't remember him having to take much flak for his actions just a few days before the general election.

It really was not a wide margin. Where do you get that idea?

????

Haven't you been listening to Trump for the past 9 months. Trump's 2016 was by a HUGE margin. The electoral majority was huge. Trump also won the popular vote, if the illegal votes are excluded from the count.

It makes sense so long as you define "illegal votes" to mean votes not cast for Donald Trump.

i'm talking about the map Donald Trump was touting earlier this year, Gerrymandering remember also effects Senate and House.

Gerrymandering generally affects the House of representatives, and state legislature seats. It does NOT affect presidential balloting or the federal Senate.

There is the small matter as to how "The Donald" could win in the Electoral College, despite receiving 3 million fewer ballots in the popular vote!

Trump and his supporters can assert all they want that these 3 million ballots were cast illegally, but like his accusation that Barrack Obama was guilty of wiretapping Trump Towers, over 10 months have passed and he has yet to produce any proof to substantiate either claim!

US elections aren't decided by popular vote. If they were, the campaigns would have been very different. Trump would have campaigned much more in large democratic states, even though he had almost no chance to win the majority of votes in the state. As it was, ti didn't matter whether he took 20% of NY or 48%.

Gee, it's almost as if a majority of voters wanted someone else to win....

How does the government expect to retain the American public's respect and confidence in its "democratic" institutions when the candidate who receives 3 million fewer votes is rewarded with the Presidency?

The 2016 Election sends the message that not all voters are created equal, and that the current system is "rigged" to disenfrancise those 3 million voters who cast their ballots in favour of Clinton.

Hilarious would not be the first word I would reach for.

How does gerrymandering affect the presidential election?

No the electoral college is what disenfranchises voters in presidential elections, gerrymandering disenfranchises voters for the house.

The senate represents minoritys by design by assigning more senators to small states per capita.
