What do these mean? The seed of the serpent will serve the Seed of the woman, yes.
Genesis 3:15
"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."
1 Corinthians 9:27
"But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."
No, I did not.Oh, did you show where kidnap, rape, and general exploitation is endorsed?
Can you prove that kidnapping and rape are essential elements of slavery? Kidnapping, by definition, is illegal. Slaves in the Bible, as in the American South, were bought legally and born into slavery legally.
Now, you may well say that this is just as bad as kidnapping, and of course I'd agree with you. But the Bible wouldn't.
I repeat: the Bible endorses slavery, and the case for this is clearly made in the first and second posts of this thread. You've gone thirty-three pages so far without addressing this case.
From my point of view this is quite understandable, as the answer to the question "does the Bible endorse slavery?" is a firm "YES". But if you do have some rebuttals to make to the arguments presented by Pastor Warren in the first and second posts of this thread, please do so.
