Does persevering in the faith imply earning salvation?

Going back yet again to what the passage says.
eph 2 v8+9 talks about salvation by faith.

If gentiles have been saved then yes they have also been adopted into God's family etc etc

But they get there because God has saved them, not b ecause of what they have done.

Previously, they were not included.

Now they are.

Not because they were better than Israel.

But because of God's mercy, grace, gift.

Inclusion, not salvation.

Shall I use triple spacing?

This is going in circles.
UYou and I are gentiles. We are not jews.
We like jews are saved by Jesus death and resurrection and are adopted into his family.

The inclusion is gentiles is because they have been saved and only because they have been saved.
