Each one has his own opinions but Truth is absolute, unchanging. All genuine Christians agree on the salvation essentials or they could not be saved. On the endless non-essential issues, Christians have never all agreed.

your story opens with a bias which misleads the reader and is common in theological discussion. The farmer did not notice a "grave being dug" as there was no grave. What the farmer noticed was a hole being dug which he then interpreted as a grave. Ultimately it was always a hole for a septic tank and never a grave or never just an unknown hole and this is what the farmer saw whether he knows it or not.

Does the prayer offered to this false god make him any more real, does this false god actually now exist because of the 7 time a day ritual?

There is only one God. Men have always been mistaken as to who exactly that is.
They use different names and characteristics. God is known for being forgiving.
