I am not going to bother with it, for two reasons. one, it makes no difference, for even if what you said is mostly correct, your own allegations do not match the prophecy. And second, you would still believe what was said by the people you want to believe.

nonsense to call the opinions of a group of histoicicists "the clear majority of historical specialists." I could, with just as much validity, list a large number of Dispensational writers stating an opinion, and call that "the clear majority of prophetic specialists."

You could. But you couldn't call them the clear majority of historical specialists. Just like I couldn't (nor would ever wish to) call a large number of historicists the clear majority of "futurical" specialists.

This simply shows the limited application of the Hebrew word translated "earth." it simply does not mean every spot on the globe. The same is true of the Greek word translated "earth." This is clearly shown by the following scriptures:

"Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God." Psalm 90:2

And:

"For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty." Revelation 16:14

Agreed; that is the point I was making. An earlier post claimed that Daniel 2:39 and 7:23 did not qualify as fulfilled prophecy because the "earth" to which they referred was not the entire physical earth. Your and my citations, and your explanation, demonstrate its applicable meaning.
